  1. espacef1fan,   I'm a CMP Master Instructor for the M1 Garand.  The ammo that you want is at this link listed as item # 4C3006X000-200P.   http://www.odcmp.com/Sales/ammo.htm   Let me know if you need anything else.  I'm in the Ft. Campbell area often and would be happy to help.   BTW - - - All of my instruction is Free of Charge.   Air Assault!   Mark
  2. I wonder how many folks know that Richard Childress is on the Board of Directors of the NRA.
  3.   Good link for standard 1911 extractor tuning....., but the SIG uses an external extractor.   To the OP, are your problems a failure to go into battery?
  4. Yup! Time to bring this thread back to the top. My Colt Combat Elite with Custom Shop Silver Medallion Cocobolos.
  5. Richard Fitzpatrick just became one of my write-ins for the NRA Board of Directors!
  6.   It was a Joint Operation.   Army, Navy, USMC, Air Force.  They are in what we in the Army call, Mess Dress uniforms.    I have found out that these officers had been detailed as senior escorts to a dinner given by the WH for the State Governors who where in DC for a conference.   When I was in the Pentagon, we called this "Potted Plant Duty."    I'm sure the duty was over and they were asked if there would be any volunteers who would like to meet with the FLOTUS.  You would be surprised how many young service members love the Obamas - - - they have no idea what right looks like.  :ugh:
  7. I like their use of the term "Standard Capacity Magazines."   Well Done Magpul.  Well Done!
  8. I find it very discomforting the use of the military as backdrops.   And...., couldn't help but notice a surprising lack of combat decorations on those service members - - - Odd.
  9. Hmmmm...., Wonder where my Airborne Battle Buddy got the idea to get a SIG TACOPS? With my Surefire X300 mounted, I'm using a BladeTech. Last year they were the only folks making one for a TACOPS using a X300. OK holster, but you can only use it with the light mounted, otherwise it won't lock-in. I picked up this holster made by Zero Concealment Systems for those times that I'm not running a light. It ready does carry the TACOPS well and is my first choice for those times when retention and all day carry is more important than speed. http://shop.zeroconcealmentsystems.com/main.sc I also found the the TACOPS will fit in a Blackhawk Sportster Standard CQC Concealment Holster. Model # 415603BK-R. Cheap, but it works. Of course I've taken a dremel and heatgun to all of them, so what they now look like now doesn't match these pictures. :dirty: Here is a link to a several page thread about SIG 1911 holsters. http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=370591 Enjoy!
  10. C/1-101 was one of the Companies in my old Battalion. :woohoo: "Expect No Mercy!" NM6 - Ancient
  11. Wish I had that cleaning rod.    My M91 is one of the Spanish Civil War rifles that the Soviets sold to the Socialist Spanish government.    Its the normal mis-matched Mosin, but oddly enough only my Finn M39 can out shoot it.
  12. And don't forget that the "list" is the Curios part of the C&R.   The Relics are firearms which were manufactured at least 50 years prior to the current date and do not have to be on the list.      See Federal firearms laws, 27 CFR Section 478.11   http://www.atf.gov/publications/firearms/curios-relics/
  13.   The NG doesn't fall under the UMCJ.   Some states have their own version, but Tennessee does not.
  14. And it gets even better.... Lexington is the location for the 251st MP Company!
  15.   He learned all this from Saul Alinsky.   In Rules for Radicals Alinsky wrote, "....The job of the organizer is to maneuver and bait the establishment so that it will publicly attack him as a 'dangerous enemy.'" According to Alinsky, "the hysterical instant reaction of the establishment will not only validate the organizer's credentials of competency but also ensure automatic popular invitation......"   To know Obama - Study Saul Alinsky.
  16. Yup, my concern also as posted here.    http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/58056-safety-and-the-new-gun-owner/
  17. Well, most of these were to break up the log-jam that had been the result of Jimmy Naifeh's parliamentary tricks.   Don't forget that SOB was Speaker from 1991 to 2009.   Just think what would be going on in Nashville right now if Naifeh was still there.
  18.     METALLICA!!!!!!!   All kidding aside - - - You are RIGHT!  The lyrics to King Nothing is the O Bummer.
  19. Of all the tricks I have seen about making the M1 a better shooter, the stock ferrule seat is one of that is often overlooked.    Great info at this link.   http://www.shotgunnews.com/2012/12/07/garand-accuracy-issues-stock-fit/
  20. Agree.   200-300 lumens seems to be the sweet spot to me.    Anything more than that...., well JMHO but it most likely better suited for something that is belt-fed.  :dirty:
  21.   A guy like me who spends in the thousands of dollars every year in the shooting sports and training quits running his USGI mags and buys PMags.   He buys PMags for his family members.   He tells all of his friends to buy PMags.   He recommends that all of his students buy PMags.
  22.   Oh they know what they are doing.   This is what happens when Liberals destroy one state (California) move away from that mess to another state (Colorado) and then vote in the same type of Liberals who continue their attacks on liberty.
  23.   Reflection indoors was also a concern of mine, but it appears that the newer Malkoffs with the re-designed orange peel reflector really soften the light.  Also, when so many weapon lights seem to have a harsh center beam that causes you to have tunnel vision, the Malkoff center focus is larger without the sharp edge.
  24.   Rather talk to one of the owners who along with one of my cousins was a past business partner in another capital venture.   Don't get me wrong.  I wish good forture and great success for NA.     I just think that in regard to this matter, the hired management is being short-sighted with the high match fee.  That will be my point whenever I get around to discuss this with one of the partners.
  25. WOW! Just upgraded my old M951 Surefire weapon light with the M61 Malkoff Drop-In LED. The 260 lumen Malkoff ready has a great throw with a very nice side spill. I do think that the solid brass heatsink might make it a bit heavy for anything handheld....., but for a weapon light mounted on a longarm its a MegaForce BadAss Upgrade! :tough: Got mine from http://brightflashlights.com/ for $52.50 shipped. Ordered on Friday and had it Monday.
