I like the opening story told during the episode on the BAR. It was an account of a Korean War Vet and how cold and isolated he felt at night in his foxhole. And then in the distance he would hear the firing of a BAR..... And he Knew He Was Not Alone!

Upper arrived today. :woohoo: Its a nice looking hunk of metal. I'll be picking up the lower tomorrow at my transfer FFL. I Know...., I Know - - - Pictures when I get it all put together!
-
WOW - - - Nice...., Very Nice! Looks like you are ready for some Long Range 1000 yard F Class fun. That is so long as your shoulder can take firing 60-80 rounds of .300 Winchester Magnum in the prone position!

When I retire from the Army, I was asked what were the biggest changes that I had seen over the 30+ years. - We got around better at night (NVGs). - We didn't get lost as often (GPS). - And the women now had more tattoos than an Airborne Command Sergeant Major.

$499! :dropjaw: I knew I went to bed too early last night......

Well I just couldn't organize enough personal resistance..... :hyper: Place my order last night for the upper, a stripped lower, and a build kit. Reckon I better start stocking up on M80 ball ammo. Thanks to mcordell for the heads up! AND to 173rdABN - - - "Shooter Ready...., Standby......"

Going to be hard to top the "shockers" from last season. BUT......, I think there is one final showdown coming for somebody who needs "killin!"

My Century Arms AK-74 needs a new barrel
DMark replied to jmecklen's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
John, Is this one of the notorious CAI builds where they put the 5.56 barrels into their AK-74s? -

DMark replied to Lumber_Jack's topic in General Chat

GUNSMITH NEEDED MT JULIET/LEBANON AREA
DMark replied to Sonny's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Yup, Ben Schade. Good guy and a real-deal metal cutting and wood checkering gunsmith. Lebanon Gun Shop, 615-547-9600 He has done several jobs for me. As Westwindmike stated, his rates are very reasonable. -
It might be a good idea to replace all of the springs throughout the firearm.
