I'll claim tagging this as "Tanker's Revenge" nearly 7 years ago. One of the MODs later added to the title. Might be the only Forever & Forever thing I'll do on the internet..., now that all my Tiny Pic stuff is gone!

TGO GROUP BUY!!!!!!! It is sort of a Tennessee 1911 now.
-
I used an Old School Tag back back in 2013 and then coined the phrase "TankerHC's Revenge" back in 2014. Yea..., guess you could say I'm "IN!"

Streamlight TLR-7A Compact Weapon Light
DMark replied to DBTN's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
DB, I agree. The new Rear Switch Option on the -7A makes this a much better weapon light. The side switches on the original -7 were hard to reach for folks with small hands. -
That is an easy fix. TJS CUSTOM - TJ'S 1911 SERIES '80 TO SERIES '70 CONVERSION SHIMS https://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/frame-parts/frame-hardware/fillers/tj-s-1911-series-80-to-series-70-conversion-shims--prod13121.aspx

HOLY SH********T!!!!!!!! Now the revenge of TankerHC has taken us into the sad, sad world of cheap High Powers. John Moses Browning would not be pleased with this turn of events.
-
That was Joe Lundberg's 1911. He was/is a TGO member. Use to own Hero-Gear in Winchester, TN. I might be wrong since its been several years, but I think it's a Heirloom Precision build. It could have been one of their SHOT Show 1911s with either Ted Yost or Jason Burton (maybe both) doing the work.
-
Well I'm getting tired of thinking about ugly & cheap 1911s....., here is a picture of the most Beautiful 1911 that I had ever held in my hands.
-
Well, to be Era Correct..., it should be a Browning Hi-Power to go along with a FAL. Not that I'm trying to get this topic off-track!

Here is a good example of Schadenfreude...… I expect that somewhere the ghost of TankerHC is making the same facial expressions as that guy in the middle knowing that this thread still lives.....
-
Yup! Schadenfreude is a compound of the German nouns Schaden, meaning "damage" or "harm," and Freude, meaning "joy," so it makes sense that schadenfreude means joy over some harm or misfortune suffered by another.
