  1. It looks like it finally fixed itself . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If I tried to use a desktop at work, they would go full retard on me.
  3. I’m using an iPhone 8+
  4. I did all of the above and the same result. I don’t have a desktop and I don’t have and password saving apps. I turned all the autofill off. No help. im kinda surprised it lets me in after the error message , too, if i resubmit . It obviously isn’t changing the password to what I enter , though .
  5. Then it lets me in if I try to submit again but still won’t let me in with tapatalk or another browser or acknowledge the new password if I log out.
  6. Here’s what’s happening.
  7. Yeah, I kinda got out of the community and shooting because a couple things happened: my dad got sick and I took care of him for a year and my eyes required bifocals . Losing a year of shooting and not really sure if I’ll ever adjust to shooting with glasses made me not wanna burn a lot of powder. Ive decided that I really don’t care if I’m not as good a shooter as I once was, I still enjoy it and need to get my ass back out there . Thanks for the welcomes!!!
  8. I know truglo makes night sights but not the fiber optic hybrid.
  9. Thank you . It’s certainly strange .
  10. I hadn’t been on in a long while and did the “forgot my password “ thing . I was able to finally get on safari only . It constantly tells me my passwords don’t match , no matter how careful I am putting it in both places . It let me in through safari but it doesn’t recognize the password I put in via any other browser or tapatalk. Please help
  11. Vortex makes a very good red dots in that price range . Their magnifiers I actually prefer over eotech or aimpoint for half the money . I know “made in China “... but I’ve had nothing but good luck with their quality .
  12. But decided to get back on and see what’s going on in the community
  13. I target shoot with storm lake but carry with factory and suggest you do the same. Part of the genius of Gaston Glock was his loose tolerances on his barrels thereby making the chamber a bit larger and forgiving and making for a far more reliable weapon but sacrificing accuracy and accepting a weakened brass secondary to allowing it to expand more (I never reload brass that has been fired through a factory Glock barrel). Aftermarket barrels, conversely, usually have very tight tolerances and a much tighter chamber. This makes for a far more accurate weapon that is less likely to allow for bulging of the brass, but also makes a jam far more likely to occur. All that being said, if there comes a time when your life is on the line, reliability is far more important than accuracy and you probably aren't gonna be using cast lead in a self defense situation.
  14. I only took a torch to my extra barrel. Original barrel still intact. BTW, gunsmiths do it all the time. It's exactly how Remington originally put the lug on.
  15. And I brazed it with 45% silver solder. It ain't going anywhere unless I put 1300 degrees to it.lol
  16. Here are some pics. Obviously still need to refinish, but hell, it's a turkey gun. May just give it a Krylon special. http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s401/tntnixon/20130226_212217_zpse98d7c5b.jpg http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s401/tntnixon/20130226_212228_zps65fd21e1.jpg http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s401/tntnixon/20130226_212220_zpseef6f678.jpg
  17. Update: I am removing thr barrel lug and replacing it in the proper position on this shotgun. Not really that hard to do. Would have already had it finished if a buddy of mine didn't have my braising tip grom my torch.
  18. So I bought an 870 tactical with the thought of having a one size fits all shotgun because of parts interchangability. Much to my chagrin, after buying a rem choke barrel for the 870, I find out that it will not fit due to the fixed extended magazine. There is too much space between the barrel lug and the magazine cap. I have heard of others placing a piece of PVC as a spacer but wondering is this safe. Also wondering if there is a gunsmith out there who could either make an appropriate spacer or move the lug. Pretty frustrated cuz 870's have always had interchangeable parts. Remington screwing us again.
  19. I just wish more pressure was being applied by the likes of: S&W, Glock, Springfield, Ruger, Beretta, Mossberg, Bushmaster, Remington, HK and SigSauer. Until the "big boys" boycott, the rest won't make much impact. Unfortunately, the "big boys" have proven, in the past, that they are more than willing to throw the rest of us under the proverbial bus.
  20. I think Ramsey is dead wrong on this. It would be perfectly acceptable and legal to make the database closed. However, if you open it and disallow the press from publishing it you run a very high risk of it being overturned by the courts on a 1A argument. I personally would believe it to be unconstitutional even though I don't like it. Just close the entire database and you're good-to-go. Unlike the anti-gun crowd, I don't pick out the parts of the Constitution that I like and try to subvert the rest. I try to see it from it's true meaning and our founding fathers would have never gone for such a suppression of the freedom of the press.

  22. If it was the barcode, Walgreens tried to do that when I was buying some beer. I stopped the girl before she did and told her to keep the beer. There is a lot more info than DOB imbedded in that barcode.
  23. Wait: The video clip is from April 6, 2011 but the website shows the bill as be filed on 1/31/13 and introduced on 2/4/13. Maybe it is being re-introduced so it might not be dead yet. I don't know why they would attach and old video clip to a reintroduced bill though.
  24. Looked it up. means the bill is essentially dead
  25. The video clip from the subcommitee states that the bill is "Taken off notice". What does that mean?
