It didn't look the same after I clicked "post quick reply. But fixed it by putting in the links.

What Happens In Alabama When There is an Intruder In Your Bed

I love how they called their piece of heaven in the projects "their property". Last time I checked, it's the tax payers property. -
What Happens In Alabama When There is an Intruder In Your Bed

Rapin' errbody up in here!!! Gotta love it homeboy. -
I think he is indeed in character. There was a recent article about most of the Spring guests being at least somewhat "put on". One of the clues to his "character" is that he never talks about walking down the street only about being in the "trailer park." Even people who live in trailer parks eventually make it off the property if for no other reason than to buy some "chewin' 'backy".

I think I need to name at least one of mine "Ragnar", just haven't decided which one.

I have an Ipod 3G but I still am not sure what "jailbreaking" does for you. Can someone tell me the utility of this so I can make an informed decision as to whether or not I need to do this to mine.

Actually from the play The Mourning Bride by William Congreve. One of the most erroneously attributed quotes in history.

Here's the link Stolen Valor Act Unconstitutional (SWJ Blog)
-
If I'm not mistaken, the Stolen Valor law was ruled "unconstutional" a couple weeks back. I think the case was in Colorado and the ruling said it was "freedom of speach" to lie about your service to our country. Lifetime appointed judges can be "douche bags" too.

Anybody been seeing any bucks with antlers yet?
tntnixon replied to roverboy's topic in Hunting and Fishing
I've got several bucks with antlers in my back yard. One's a ten pointer, he was just a button buck when we moved in 6 years ago. They have no fear in a residential neighborhood!!! -
I work with a girl who is a nurse. Both she and her husband (a teacher) got both their Bachelor's and Master's degrees from a local and very prominant private university (on student loans) because their couselors told them that "an education of that level couldn't be replaced with money". So off to the student loan offices they went, and low and behold they have a financial hole that they will never be able to climb out of. I asked her why their families didn't object and she said that they had but neither she or her husband listened. She said that she trusted her couselor more because of her academic background. My response was "If your mothers and fathers wouldn't pay for it even though they had the resources, that was a clue!!!!"

That, I agree with!!!! Sorry, I guess I missed to point!!!

Mike, you have completely missed the point. I am casting my vote for Haslam with a sense of pure self interest, a thing most people sorely lack today. I know that I will have a better shot at losing what little freedom I do have with McMini Me than with Haslam. I am not a "bandwagon" guy by any stretch of the imagination. If I were, I would have been a Obama supporter, which I can assure you that I am not. I would not vote for McMini Me if he had a 75-25% lead, nor would I vote for a 3rd party candidate that would push him over the top in a 3 way race. I am a egocentric, self-interest seeking neanderthal that votes in his own self interest and I do not vote for people who are willing to take away what little I have earned or make it more likely.

I'm assuming the character you're referring to is Bertram Scudder. The interesting thing about "these times" is that they are much more like those described in the book, than people realize. It has become easy for people to note the government is very similar to that we are experiencing today, but what is more interesting is how business is also mirroring that of the book. Since we have been in this recession of the last two years, I assumed that businesses that want to to exchange my money for their products would be eager to provide better service or higher quality than that of times pre-recession. I unfortunately have been sorely disappointed. It seems that our products and services are actually declining. Delivery times on goods is actually increasing. I bought a sofa recently that was to take 3 weeks for delivery but actually took 3 months, with everyone claiming they "can't get the material", "it's not my fault", "i didn't make that decision and no, I don't know who does or who can". But it has been that way on virtually every product and service that I has sought, of late. Businesses are complaining about not getting the work, but can't seem to actually make the products and can only tell us they're doing "the best they can". I am coming to the conclusion that Atlas is shrugging and that unless we get back to the old ways and "put the car in reverse", we shall not survive. Shockingly, I'm not sure we deserve to, anymore. I'm also not sure I want to continue to help a government and an economy use me against myself anymore, either. I don't want to give them another victim or another tool against other victims. So, if you're flying over the mountains of Colorado and you look down and see a canyon that looks too deep or inaccessible for any man or vehicle, and you haven't heard from me for awhile, you might just assume that I'm there.

This guy reminds me of Jesco White the "outlaw Dancer" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FffzU7F6Lc

I just wonder if the guy from Clarksville will teach you the Judi chop, or if you can only learn the Ningy chop from him. I guess learning both would actually be mixed martial arts. Brock Lesnar will get his ass handed to him by Diamond Dave.

Actually, it's cheaper than the "free range session" passes that I've started using at Guns and Leather (gotta buy a gun to get one). I have no idea why I let them stack up without using them other than I thought they expired, but found out they don't.

I knew Uselton was a shyster, but I had no idea how bad. Those insanely high "memberships" still require a "range fee" for each trip. Wonder how many "members" he has.

I had something similar happen with Federal the first time I loaded my M&P-15. It was not an ammo issue, it was a me issue. I had not slammed the magazine in well enough, and the cartridge came out at an angle mauling the cartridge and locking up my bolt. AR's can be a bit unforgiving with bad technique (one of the few drawbacks of the system).

If it takes 30 days to get payment, sounds like there must be a cash flow problem (i.e. paying last months bills with this months revenues). Otherwise, there should be no problem giving someone his/her money immediately upon recieving payment.

And yet another toy finds it way into the truck...
tntnixon replied to Kegger's topic in Show and Tell
That's what we all say about a new weapon. Somehow, we forget that when we're ready for something else. -
I'd call EAA (the importer of tanfoglio weapons). Their number is 321-639-4842 if they don't have the grips, they can probably tell you who makes them. Of course, that has been the case with all the manufactures/importers I've dealt with EAA may be an entirely different critter.

If money were no object, a Browning Superposed from their custom shop still the best O/U ever made (might be able to get a used one from the original runs, but for a new one the custom shop is the only option). After that, a Browning Citori or a Beretta 686 (hard to beat either of them). Of course, these are my choices for the job that you described. There are many fine shotguns for other purposes.
