  1. I got about 30 rounds of my "bear load" from when I had a Ruger Super Blackhawk. Since all I have now is a S&W629 I keep it in a very clearly marked DONT USE box.
  2. The new Smith & Wesson.

    9mm 1911

I've got a Kimber Pro in 9mm. If I was in the market for a full size 1911 9mm that's the one I'd get.
  4. I thought they were Trijicon reflex sights.
  5. Looks like a 1911 was paid a nighttime visit from a sneaky neighbor Beretta.
  6. Meh Attack Cats are better and you can carry more cats per pound.
  7. Yeah I don't know why people are so opposed to whacking it with a hammer. How do they think sights got put on guns back before sight pushers.
  8. There is already a personal lube called Gun Oil for that.
  9. I used the R word on facebook.
  10. There used to be a store like that in Athens. You could get Sears and Craftsman items but they were independently owned. Sis was telling us about it a couple of weeks ago. She works at Belk and saw it open up. It might be a storefront for the whole "Ship my pants" deal they had going a couple of years ago. The only Kmarts around us now is the one in Crossville and I think there is 1 in Knoxville. Mom worked for the one here in town and always said the stores with more competition was what was killing the rest of the stores. Take Sweetwater for instance, with year round layaway they did good business with that and the pharmacy. Kmart appealed to a certain demographic of shopper and none of the bigger stores has year round layaway to compete with that.
  11. It sure would tickle my fancy if this got through this session of Congress. With all the attempts made by the left to ram AWB 2.0 through while dancing in the blood of victims of crazy people and getting nada through for 8 years.
  12. I'd add any case number to the note about whats wrong with the gun if you have one.
  13. Talking in terms of 1 time expenditures, the most I've ever dropped on a gun was $1400 for my HK P7M13. I have guns that total cost is around $2500-300 but I didn't spend it all at one whack.
  14. I never got the concept of hearing some random persons views on the story in the news. Just sit there and read the facts and don't interject your opinion of what happened.
  15. Twice at the range and once at a road side gas station.
  16. Definitely! I haven't seen one since I like 13. One of Dad's Uncles fox hunting buddies had one.
  17. I'm not sure about 1911 parts, but PSA has "replacement spring packs" for those of us who do the same thing with ARs.
  18. Yeah that's not where I got mine.
  19. I think that's where I got mine. Is it in Cookville?
  20. Have you tried loading them full and letting them sit for a week or so? I do this to my glock mags and they are easier to load afterwards.
  21. I don't have one but I was of the understanding that the pistol comes with different mounting plates with various layouts for the screws.
  22. Comp Tac has ones with 4 or 5 holes.
  23. Sounds like my Dad!
  24. Probably waiting on something in the 40 watt range.
  25. I've kept up with AR15s a lot more lately and I haven't really seen anything ground breaking out of anything hyped as ground breaking.
