  1. I need to get some way to tape my runs. Or just get you to tape me LOL.
  2. I'm really thinking about joining the USPSA for the classifier. See if I choke on it as badly as I did the IDPA one!
  3. The current price list gives the reloads at $260 a case (1000 rounds in a case) in Minor or Major for 40 S&W and the same price for 9mm. The match grade ammo is of course much higher. They have a 1911/2011 OAL load also, not sure of price off the top of my head. I don't reload a huge amount of rounds and get my stuff locally. Counting having to buy once fired brass it comes out to a quarter a pop for me and AAA is 26 cents a round. I load the 180 FMJ over 3.2 gr Clays. It's a real pussy cat. I even shoot it for Production in USPSA when I shoot that. What I like about the 40 is I can see the holes in paper easier. This is kinda what lead me from my 19/34 to the 35. The 40 guns are in stock most places I look in hard chrome.
  4. I am starting to research what gun I want for a dedicated ESP gun. I'm thinking 9mm but if I get a 40 cal I can shoot Limited USPSA too and use the same minor load I run for SSP in my Glock. Does anyone have one they shoot in 40 cal with a minor PF load that also shoots a Glock 35? I'm trying to figure out if it would be better to just get the 9mm or go with the 40 for more stuff to play in. I plan to shoot Atlanta Arms and Ammo minor pf ammo because its almost as cheap as what I can reload for here lately.
  5. I thought that might be you when I read the intro. I'm Craig (the big guy who stutters). It was great shooting with you guys. Look forward to seeing you all out next month, or you can come out and shoot run and gun USPSA the 3rd weekend of the month.
  6. I am thinking about trying to trade my Kimber TLE for a Smith 625 moon clip 45. The Kimber is in great shape with not a lot of rounds through it (less than 500). How should I be thinking to trade? Straight across, give boot, ask for boot? I know if I got to a shop I'll get the short end of the stick which is natural for a gun shop trade in. I know the best bet would be selling the 1911 to someone but I'm not sure what to ask for it. When I bought it they had just came out and were about $1200. Now they are on gunbroker for $1000 new. Any ideas and help is appreciated.
  7. The Dead is a good newer Zombie movie. I don't really count Zombieland as a zombie movie. It is a comedy not a training film.
  8. I screwed up and shot low on the head shots I made Marksman so that's better than I expected. I'll probably re do it this fall when I get a little more lined out...........and figure out how to stop my grip milking.
  9. I ordered an ejector and housing for a Glock. It costed $7 for the part. Shipping was $13 for something that weights practically nothing. It took Fed Ex almost 5 days to deliver it. Fed Ex was the cheapest option. I ordered a slide for a glock from Brownell's and a range bag from Shooter's Connection on Sunday. Since it didn't get looked at till Monday, I got the bag yesterday and the slide is out for delivery today..... makes ya wonder.

  11. We'd know there were Zombies running the streets before the government made ANY official announcement. And the accounement would only be for the wimpy weenie people who have to be told to wash their hands after they potty.....yeah those people.
  12. I'd like to if Wally world gets in some Tula......it shoots the best in my glocks.
  13. I conceal carry but I love how our law is written because a little puff of wind at the wrong time doesn't make you in violation of any law.
  14. Muzzle break! I just died a little inside. A nice Surefire flash hider/suppressor mount would look killer on that bad boy.
  15. A good excuse to buy a Glock. Would you want them to let glocks shoot at a 1911 only contest?
  16. Anyone know if your allowed to use a gun with an optic on it? I was thinking about trying it tomorrow and test my new RMR on something other than paper plates and cardboard targets. Craig.
  17. If I can't find one around here I'll be sure to give ya a holler.
  18. Anyone know of a shop that stocks or has 1 in stock of a HK45? I'm thinking about getting one to either go with or out right replace my USP 45. I'd like to feel it in my hand before I buy but haven't had any luck with my usual haunts.
  19. IDPA is 1st Saturday SASS is 2nd Saturday USPSA is 3th Saturday 3 Guns is 3th Sunday Steel Challenge is 4th Saturday
  20. Since there are more IDPA matches a month than USPSA that I can find within driving distance of me, I have been wondering if I should just stick to 1 sport and shoot more matches a month, or should I spread around the love and shoot USPSA and IDPA. I am really leaning to IDPA till I get a good handle on the rules and everything so I don't mess up.
  21. Like anyone will be there....... The women will be busy emotionally blackmailing the men and the men well we will be busy trying to figure out women.... as usual!
  22. I'd go renew in person. I had to pay twice last time I renewed because they didn't say in the renewal letter that they required a copy of your birth certificate now and didn't what is not 8 years ago. I no longer trust the mail in process since I still have $50 floating in the system somewhere.
  23. Yeah I probably wont shoot it alot but I'm going to get back into the games and I want to try it out a little more than just square range stuff.
  24. Would a 357 sig barrel in a Glock 35 be legal for IPDA?
