This was my 1st gun and I still have it. It's the older non decoker model but it's great!

Blade Tech with tekloc or CompTac. Comp tac is probably faster to make and ship.

Well Bless Your Heart! It's not a permit to carry a gun it's a defense against breaking the law.....you still can't legally just carry a loaded firearm. -
Don't ya know it's easier to talk about stuff than to work a real job and make stuff for a living.

Does it throw a shoe?
Glocks are double action only. Not in the traditional sense of cocking a hammer then releasing that hammer, but the trigger finishes "cocking" the striker and then releases it, so two actions being performed by the trigger. The striker on a Glock is not all the way back by racking the slide. Springfield XDs are, so they're "single action" strikers. Someone will be along shortly to correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Correct unless then your one of those IDPA shooters who cry over being in ESP......then the fun starts! THEY NO DIFFER THAN GLOCKS QQQQQQQQ!!!! -
Do you think that running 3 double mag pouches on a wilderness belt gives up much to a CRspeed/DAA belt set up for a D or C class shooter? What I am trying to do (besides slow down more) is get as much constancy as I can in my gear for all the games.
Only thing that I have seen to stop an ORSA match is lightning. I have shot in the rain, and matches have been held with snow on the ground, although it was a small turnout. You will need at least three mags, but I bring more to cut down on reloading time. I get my holsters/magazines on-line generally, Midway and Cheaper Than Dirt are only a couple days away shipping wise. John is good about scheduling classifiers. You do not have to join IDPA to shoot your first match, but if you decide to join, http://www.idpa.com/.
And that is why we leave the lying and big yarns till the end of the match! Bring what ya got as long as it's safe they will usually let ya shoot and try with what ya got. -
I like Daryl's new poncho look.....Like Eastwood in his westerns or how King took the image for The Gunslinger in a world that had "moved on".
I'll never, ever underestimate bubba's ingenuity again. Beats Mexican carry!
I find mexican's too big to carry. They wanna bring that blingged out truck they always drive around in.
. Unless I am mistaken, there was also some concern from surgeons, etc. that the sharp points (talons) could make the bullets dangerous to medical personnel who were attempting to remove them from wounds. I don't always trust Wikipedia but having read through this article I think it is a pretty good one: http://en.wikipedia....iki/Black_Talon
Shot this weekend with a gentleman who used to work for Nashville PD. He said the ER personnel used to complain about them not calling ahead when they had shot someone with talons when they issued them. He said they needed to get thicker gloves! This was in response to my mag of Ranger Ts in my bag.
I had a great time out at ORSA match this weekend. While I did not shoot, I did follow our group (started on stage 2 with Ray Z.) to all six stages and looks like it will be really fun. I suggest to anyone that might be interested in this type of shooting to go to one of these matches. I will most likely go to next the IDPA match and shoot if able. Thanks to all that gave me so much information on the forum and at the range.
Remember the guy who had the mag take a dump on the classifier.........that was me Nuts was the one in the black shirt and red undershirt. -
Im at the cleveland rifle club, its off lead mine valley road in cleveland. A little farther for you but lots of the folks shoot at both. Idpa is next weekend, 3 gun was yesterday, 1 month between so you could try out idpa next weekend. Its probably still an hour drive for you. I used a p89 for a long time, they are just fine. I had 3 17 round mags I think, been a while since I looked closely. I think idpa has some sort of weird limit on the mag capacity or how many you put in anyway. I think they shoot in the rain. 3 gun does, anyway, unless its really, really bad.
I wish Cleveland had a USPSA or IPSC match on the 2nd or 4th weekend! I'd love to get 1 IDPA and 2 USPSA matches a month in. Just come on out to Oak Ridge for any of the matches. People are more than nice and really helpful. -
It's a lot of fun and you'll meet some great people.
The best people all squad on Bay 5........just saying! -
Why don't you wear your gun to church? Bad things can happen in church just like they happen at Wal-Mart. What's to say the LORD didn't put you in that place and time to stop someone? That is how I have always looked at the wearing a gun to church issue. As to the person making a scene, I would have simply told him that I was breaking no law and he needs to mind his own business.

So I read through several posts and one thing sticks out to me......half the people who post have no idea how to fight a zombie. They want to use way to much gun or fire. What if ya miss? There's $5 to $20 a shot wasted. What if those 4 zombies you just lit on fire start walking your way....your house/compound gets burned down. Do yourself a favorite and watch a few movies or read a few books. Don't be ill informed and become a happy meal on legs.
-
So you can fight off hordes of Zeds with button mag ARs and 10 round mags? I FEEL CHEATED AND LIED TO!!!! They told me I needed 17 round mags with base pads for 5 to 8 more rounds and 30 to 45 round rifle mags..........and I don't even wanna get into the whole box feed 20 round shotguns!

I'm looking for a leather worker in East Tennessee. I need someone who does Cowboy Action Shooting. I have a few things I want made that needs to be fitted. Any help is appreciated.
