  It won't be enforced anymore now than it was before.   I really think the "rewrite" of the rule book was more to fix pet peeves and Pee Pee Slap the ISPC-lite crowd. On the whole it won't really effect anyone shooting "just a club match". And it probably won't hurt the MM to SS/Low end Exp shooters but I expect to see fussing from the "big boys".

    Why should we have to warehouse and keep up criminals? I don't put the value on human life, the other person does. I value my life enough to protect it, carry a firearm and live by the laws of the land. When the criminal decides his life is worth my laptop or TV is a choice he made. We all have to live with our choices.

  So you get to pick the rules you enforce? Like letting non IDPA members shoot IDPA matches?  I know just about every range does this but it's still against the rules. I'm not picking on ya just using your post as an example of how level 1 matches will still pick and choose the rules to enforce.     I'm looking forward to becoming a SO.......so I can DQ you for looking like  you might be thinking about doing something that might be that gray area. Well a loose chamber is ok for what I want it for. I got it to shoot any and all bullet types in my glock.

  I personally think that should be changed in every state where it is illegal. It would thin the herd of the Free Stuff Army and would thin down the number of break ins when people are home.  Texas has the right idea. 

Can someone confirm for me that the brass is supposed to look like this? Happens with Factory WWB and my handloads. I know it's just soot but I have never had an aftermarket barrel before so I'm ignorant of these things.

I can buy a hammer EASY and have no training yet I have basically a weapon of war!  A 28 oz/32 oz framing hammer is just a mace which started as a weapon of war.

Current Rule Book IDPA   S.1.B  A 180 degree rule does NOT exist and will NOT be grounds for a DQ.   So was it a IDPA rule you broke or a local range rule? One is contestable (since you can't make up rules as you go along) and one isn't.         Edited to be more clear and add the language from the rule book.
