  1. That's one of the things everyone talked about when the pictures came out. I just wondered if it was 1911 like or just looked like one.

That's why a lot of people like it and why a lot of the newer ammo for 9mm and 40 are bonded bullets. One of these days I'm going to get a barrel for either my Glock 35 or M&P Pro if I ever find one.
  3. 1911 like trigger?
  4. Since we are getting a new Rural King in town I wonder if they will. Discount on farm stuff would be good if it stacks with the farm tax number.
  5. Yeah we wear Lowe's out LOL
  6. I keep telling Dad that he needs to get his VA Id card so he can get the free meals. He says he'd rather pay full price than fight the lines! He really does need to get his ID card so he can use the VA if he needs to.

At least they haven't gone to "disabled vet" yet. And besides if you can buy a house on 1 monthly check, I'd think they would buy a new car/truck and just finance it that 1st month.
  8. If I was trying to reduce the spring weight on the gun, I'd get one of those aftermarket Gen 4 recoil guide rods that let you use a single spring and then change them out till I found one that worked for his grip strength and also kept the gun safe to shoot.
  9. Removing the dimples to use an extension on my 870 is the reason I first bought a dremel "gunsmithin" tool to start with.
  10. My SG3D has shipped and I'm patiently waiting on the mailman.....yeah right. I can't wait to see how it does with my battlecomp and my "itchy" trigger finger.

The best way, and the cheapest, is to get a box of 9mm ranger T +p+ 124 grain ammo. Standard 357 Sig is 124-125 grains at 1300 fps. The Ranger T load is published at 1300 fps. That will give you a really really close approximate of it.
  12. Terrorist face shooting glock 19 Killa!!!!
  13. You sir are a great father!
  14. A big huge Nothingburger..........I'm glad I didn't skip IDPA to sit in the truck as a quick reaction force since there was nothing happening in Tennessee.......
  15. I have a Surefire G2 with Makoff drop in that I used the Primary Arms weapon light pressure switch on to run on my 130` If I hadn't already had the light I think I would have tried the Primary Arms Weapon light or the Streamlight Pro Rail light.
  16. That's the accepted way for shooting little girls who are zombies.
  17. There needs to be a decoder ring for women!
  18. No one takes pics so we can shield the guilty among us.
  19. No thankfully I learned from the mistakes of others posted on the interwebz!
  20. That little round hole on the hand guard should be a QD sling socket. And in the pic you can see the loop on an end plate like I was talking about.
  21. There are a ton of end pieces that have a QD socket or a loop on them. That's what most people use. The Shockwave has some slits you could use for a sling. I'd make sure you got a good hold with a M-lock sling mount. I didn't have much luck with the magpul one on my 308. I use the magpul ASAP plate on all my ARs that get a sling for the rear point.
  22. It annoys me in an tv show/movie that it's in.
  23. All I know about Craig's List is don't signup for any Gangbangs.
  24. I'll tell ya I search my soul once a week over Glock vs M&P. I got a RMR on my Glock 19 and I got a #### ton (yes a technical term) of mags for my G34 and G19. I've more holsters than 1 man should own for glocks and am heavily invested in Glock. But I shoot my M&P Pro for IDPA and shoot my M&P 9 full size better than my glocks. I just can't seem to make the switch to my Apex'd out M&P. Maybe if I box everything up and bury it deep deep in the safe under all that AK stuff I have from when I had an AK.
  25. Like Rick's 44 mag Python and his holding an uncocked 1911 on the people in Terminus.
