    There is a picture of a HCP badge floating around that is either a real well made badge or a great photo shop.  I'd get one (less than $30 all Id spend) like that just for for giggles to have in the safe as a conversation piece. I'd put it next to my GI Joe dog tags my Sister sent off for me. She thought that was soooo funny the day they came in.

The manual says not to........there's your answer!     I shot lead in my factory barrels and I didn't any problems other than it took a few more mins scrubbing out the lead. I have since upgraded my 3 "go to" Glocks with KKM barrels......now I spend that few more mins cleaning burnt power off everything inside it!   Honestly for every 2 stories about Factory barrels and lead there are 3 that say it's ok. There is a thread on BEnos.com about it in the glock sub forum and it's worth the read. In the end it's your call. I load 40 but to minor PF.....well kinda minor.  I wouldn't run lead at Major PF in a factory barrel but that's just my personal call.

That's how I dealt with his Compromising ideas...............of course him being a police officer he would have gotten to keep his "toys".
