Zimmerman would have won the fight because DMZ already said he was gonna beat his ass and break the rules. Can't have GZ winning over another "Obama son".

Any place in Mid-Tn to buy cardboard IDPA targets?
Spiffy replied to quickbiscuit's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
I might have to give you some money to get me some on your next trip to ORSA. Unlike BN and Prag I like to use new targets so I can see where I hit. -
I had/have been quit for a few years now and really only had the urge when at shooting matches. They could crack a can and I could smell it across the bay. Started back this month with some Copenhagen Southern Blend. I can't say I have had any urges but I have had about 4 dips since the 1st. Maybe I can limit it to just gun related stuff.

Not sure about how late they are open but there is usually a parking lot full on Saturday morning when I'm going passed to ORSA for a match.

Sometimes Justice is like a funeral, it's just for the living to make them feel better...........and filleting the f'er's with a dull knife would make me feel better about it. Sometimes the concept I have of what HELL is going to be like for some people reinforces my resolve to never do anything to sent there.

Isn't it a GMC that when you pull the lever back that the high/low and fog lights come on?
-
Or a hole dug and cinder block walls put up with a steel/cement roof to be buried.
-
Well it is black!

I kinda wish they had a printed/binder rule book even if it costed a subscription. When they changed or clarified something the subscriptions got sent new pages to replace the current page(s) with updated rules.

The IDPA rules are in black and white! There is no color or shades of grey!
-
I picked it back up I'm too fat for USPSA and I need the ego boost in my Middle Age that IDPA gives me when I place in the top 1/3 lol
-
When I get to be an SO I might get me a red binder!

What language are the road signs in? Kinda answers that question. America used to be a Melting Pot. People came from all over to be AMERICAS! Now they wanna put American last and be something else. That in my opinion is when we lost what it was to be American. People in other lands didn't fight and die to give Americans the rights and liberties we have. They don't fight and die to protect those rights and liberties but feel entitled to them just because they are here.

My 10 year old got to shoot Her first 1000 F-Class match
Spiffy replied to Alleycat72's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
I couldn't see the berm at 1k! I love to see kids shoot. They always show us how it's done! -
Well I got bored and wasn't satisfied with the little printed booklet that I made. The A5 paper setting is real close to the little 3 ring binders and I had a paper trimmer. The only thing I forgot was to set it to print double side but then again it would probably have messed me up on punching holes.

For a tower model, spec it out and built if from Tiger Direct. For a laptop/notebook, Dell with the extra warranty. I ran my M600 for almost 4 years straight before it started to have fans fail and over heat.

I took the OAL and crimp down a little more but I'll check this out.

When you put the cartridge in the gauge with the bullet pointed down/base up or put the cartridge in base down/bullet up.

1st impressions mean everything. My 1st expouser to Hoffmann was his role on Boogie Nights. Every time I saw him I saw in my head that scene where he tried to kiss him. Sad to see him go.

I have been having issues with my 40 minor Glock load. I was loading OAL between 1.1250- 1.1300 with brass I bought on line and plated and lead bullets. Everything was doing good then I started using range pick up brass and only lead bullets. Started to get several that wouldn't fully chamber or were sticking at ULSC so I got a EWG 7 hole case gauge. My old clays load (before I changed brass source) all gauged just fine but my new loads (e3 load) failed about a 1/3 of the time with bullet in. Those that failed passed about 90% with bullet up. At yesterday's match I had a couple of stoppages with the KKM barrel so I changed back to my Glock factory barrel and only had 1 sticky round at ULSC but didn't have to bump the slide any to get it into battery. So today I took the ones that failed and took my seating depth down to 1.1175-1.1200 and turned the Lee FCD down a little bit and 2/3s of those round passed the gauge bullet down. The 1/3 of those that failed after the adjusting measure the same OAL and when I measure the case diameter at different places along the length of the brass nothing measures larger than the holes in the gauge. If I haven't totally confused you all as bad as I'm confused and lost as to why I get some that wont function in the gauge or the barrel when they measure out the same, does anyone have any ideas I can try? My reloader is an old Lee turrent with Lee U sizer, expander/powder, bullet seating and then Factory crimp die.
