That is what my understanding of it was. I'd just hate to see a rumor get out and people think that 5 or 6 matches weren't being held.

I just read on the open IDPA facebook page where people are saying all the major matches for Tennessee has been cancelled. They heard it at  Mountain valley sportsman association regional match .  Also was talking about the Mississippi matches too.   One of the people in the know might what to get ahead of this rumor.

  We get that now and then with people coming to see the "old house". It started with one older lady who did in fact live there when we was a child. The rest seem to come back every 3 years or so. The last time I told them NO. No one else has lived here in 60 years and you have no business looking around an old house that the floor could fall in or something. They got mad but we been paying the land tax for the last 60 years so they can just be mad.

  I have shot there 6 or 7 times for 3 guns and never saw a required slug. There was an option once to use slugs instead of pistol for 4 targets at the back of the bay but I don't think anyone went that route that I saw.

  Personally I think using a pistol buffer tube is a great way to keep yourself honest and what I would personally do. Which is why I don't own an AR pistol. It just removes all temptation.

  You should take up a donation then when it comes time to pay land taxes since they all get so much use outta your land.     You would think people would have enough damn sense to stay off property that don't belong to them. We had one of those "I got a hunting license, I go where I please" hunters one year. He got a stern talking to and the visual of me on the porch with a gun didn't hurt any.   I'm not against a man looking for his lost dog but you drive up to the house and ask nicely. We had one idiot just driving in the field across from the house. I wasn't polite at all with him. Probably doesn't help my out look on coon hunters that they never seem to own any land to hunt on. The local guy here has been shot at just about as much as he has had a gun pointed at him. He still has 10 dogs on a 1/4 acre lot.

  They piss off liberals.   And this is the kind of thinking that leads to stuff getting ban.

  That is the answer you will see 99% of the time.  They don't use slugs much at Cleveland or ORSA, or much buckshot.  Most shotgun stages are clays and poppers that I have seen. Some of the bigger matches might use them I don't know. If your just shooting up at ORSA just show up and as most club matches at ORSA they will get ya lined out.  Make sure you got $10 for chamber flags if you don't have any they are required.

I got ripped into for wearing an Uncover Police t shirt once. A woman told me I was taking my life in my hands letting everyone know I was an undercover cop............... She really flipped when I told her I wasn't a cop lol

Too many people wanna look "cool" like on the videos or at a match. Always take a quick look at your holster to check for problems before you reholster. You don't need to stare a hole through it but just a quick glance to make sure you hit the holster and that there is nothing in the way.

Lot of people use "scout" for any rifle of medium caliber with a forward mounted scope.

Anyone got an email or anything from the Carolina Cup yet? It's my 1st time applying for the match but I'd have thought they'd tell ya if you were in or on the waiting list by now.

I think they said on Talking Dead that Terminus was the original name for Atlanta because it was the end of the railroad in the south. It represents "The end of the line".......which is foreshadowing in and of itself. Also could be a plan on the fact that people say even when you die you have to go through Atlanta International Airport.

  i think it was more of a they just walked through it and didn't stop aspect to it. But I chalk the non burnt clothes to the same people who are still mowing their yards.

  I was happy about that! It ruined my good match run. Now if I can figure out how to get my usual "bad stage" tossed at every match I'll move up on the overall!
