I got an iPad because my sister was telling me how Kindle was the best thing since sliced bread.  I don't use it much however. I like "books" so it doesn't have that same feel.

  I'm not entertained by shotgun patterns out of a handguns so I don't shoot at 25 yards.   Realistic handgun range to me is the longest shot you'd have inside your home. My longest shot is 15 yards and that's in the basement so that's what I have my RMR set for.

  Meh  I'll just go shoot IDPA then. I'll be back to run and gun in the fall after the IDPA major season is over for me. Can't keep the different rules in my head,

ORSA is   IDPA SASS ORSA 3 Gun     Cleveland is  SASS ( I think) 3 gun  IDPA.

You are mistaken.   Cleveland shoots IDPA the 3rd weekend of the month.   3 gun is the 2nd weekend of the month.

I got hit up with the "Fathers in the  ER and I just got off work and I need gas money" scam while getting in the car at the pizza hut. She was on me so quick I didn't even notice. Certainly takes you back to being watchful even in a parking lot.

Others may feel differently and maybe I'm just a big ole wussy.......but discovering an unknown person in my home would certainly cause me to be in fear of death or great bodily harm.   Who are they? What do they want? Are they just here to steal or will they kill me/us to make sure there are no witnesses? Are my kids alright? Are they alone? How did they get in and are there more coming?   All these are questions you would ask yourself if you discovered an intruder into your home. And all are asked outta fear.

We have always had good luck with State Farm. 

Just assume any item you want that's for sale is on the other side of the state, at least it seems that way when something catches my eye.

Being my 1st "big super duper name brand" match I thought I'd see who all from TGO was going to make the trek the the Mecca of Southern IDPA matches.

  I have my own theory about that. I think it's something about all the metal together in one place.
