  Holiday Inn Express is nice. That's where I stayed last time. Not really cheap but it's close to everything and the rooms are really clean.

  I wonder if the difference in department policies would have been a hang up. Interesting idea to be sure. 

  I think you also need what they used to call a Chemical Card now to buy most of that stuff. It's for farm use and I'm not sure what they call it now. Dad still has his because he likes to jack the yard up every year, could be why we have to mow twice a week but it sure is pretty and green.

Most of the older men who use a stick or cane that I know aren't shy about whacking you with the stick. Might be the better option to break the BGs OODA loop with a whack upside the head and quicker.

Did you ask  your fellow gun carrier if you could help him with his bags?  He might have told me to buzz off but I would have offered to help him. Might have been a good way to bring up the topic of his carry method. No one wants to see an elderly person hurt. 

Gander had some used guns when they 1st opened up......99% of the used guns were as high as new guns.

  I did the same. Took longer to find up the dremel and grinding stone than it did to knock them off.

I usually order targets on line or get a few of the used ones after a match.  The bad part about buying targets online for the average person is that shipping is as much as the targets. 

Lead in a glock barrel is only really a problem if you never clean your barrel.  I shoot lead outta my 40 and my 9 and I haven't seen any build up and I clean after every match.     There is a sticky over on BEnos.com that is full of good information on Lead in Factory Barrels. It's well worth a read.

I use Falcoated and plain lead from Falcon.  I'm too lazy to cast myself.  The falcoated doesn't smoke much at all with my loads (9mm @140 PF and 40 @ 130ish).

Never had a factory hollow point round be a dud........have had my reloads be duds. The only think it cost me was time on a stage.  I had the shop order me 200 round of Ranger T +p+. That should do me for quite a while.

  That's the same logic they use to try to ban guns. Criminals have a way of getting whatever they want if they really want it.
