  1.   IF  you think this is bad you should see what we do on the open Facebook Group.......   If you're going to let 1 thread on 1 forum be the basis for wither or not you try something new you're going to miss out on a lot of fun. You're basically letting the poor attitude of a few people decide knock you out of a great sport.  If you did you shoot IDPA you'd know that 98% this stuff says off the range. I've had a knock down drag out with a major bullet manufacturer on facebook then the next weekend we were at the same match and conducted ourselves like gentlemen as far as our little tiff went. Besides I don't shoot in Mid/West TN that much and East Tenn doesn't have much drama at all.
  2. Seems to me this whole thing could have avoided with a simple "NA has chose to change match management and we are happy to be helping them. There are no hard feelings on either side".     As for the whole your not a MCTS member and therefore don't count aspect, the people who regularly shoot the matches wherever the venue is certainly have a right to know what is going on with the venue especially a change in Match Direction. There no better way to stunt the growth of a venue/club/range than to make the people who travel to come out and shoot your matches every month, who aren't members of the host club feel like they aren't respected and not appreciated and that you just want their $10 or $15 a month.    I shoot IDPA at 2 clubs of which I am a member of neither. I don't feel entitled to know the inter-workings and decisions of the host club but I damn well do feel entitled to a polite and straight answer on issues that concern the IDPA Action Pistol of the club because I support them with my time, work and money. IDPA is a volunteer driven sport and a good attitude goes a long way.
  3.   Have you seen the one where they do like 10 different songs from different artist and categories?  There is rock, pop, country and metal......it's all the "same" song.
  4.   Wasn't too hard that 1st stage..........after that yeah it was rough on ya.
  5.   Wilson Commanders are 4.0   :ugh:   I think it also had to do with a lot of full size polymer guns have 4.25" barrels, M&P Full size, 9mm HK USP just to name 2 guns.
  6. Id say if he was in the nursing home for a long time and they didn't make the family sell it to pay for cost of the care then they most likely wont have a lien on it.  I think I'm correct in saying that it has to probate for 6 months before it can be sold. Then again he might have sold it to a family member a few years prior to going into the nursing home and they wouldn't have to sell.
  7. I have an 870 with pistol grip stock that i used for a bed side shotty for years. It has now been replaced by my 1301 that I use for 3 gun.
  8. Simple. Your G19 is legal for CCP (just ESP rules with a barrel length rule and thickness rule)  and my G34 with RMR is NFC.    Oh and CCP is 8 rounds division capacity.     And as far as I know ORSA isn't running a NFC division. The time I shot my RMR gun I just DQ'd myself on the nook after I shot my last stage and got my times wrote down.
  9. I'm saving up for a Kimber Aeigs Pro. I have had 5 1911 style pistols during my lifetime. An old Colt Gold Cup National Match that I bought used and it broke something every time I shot it, but I know now I should have kept it. A Series 1 Kimber Custom and a Series II Custom. A Colt Defender that was just a lemon from the word go, even the shop owner shot it and went right to get the return paper work. And my TLE II that I love. Never had any trouble outta the Kimbers and I like the looks of them better than the Sig 1911s. They try to make it look like a Sig and that just rubs me the wrong way.   As for the internet hate for Kimber, given that they make a lot of guns there are more of them out there in the wild and you only really hear stories about bad guns, never good guns.
  10. I have one for when I can't carry a "real gun". Usually use it for ankle carry or in a Uncle Mike belt slide. It's pretty good little gun.
  11.   Bruce Jenner......the only white man to sleep with a Kardashin!
  12. Starting this thread for people to post a picture of themselves at the range.....so we can know what each other looks like since some of us don't all shoot together. This is me Craig Narramoore.
  13. Tactical nuke in a holster!!!   Very nice I'm sure you'll love it.
  14. I'm looking at and thinking about getting a Kimber Aegis Pro. Does anyone have one who can give me their opinion of it?
  15. Wrangler is the only real Jeep. Crossover SUV stationwagon hybrids don't count.
  16. Is there some weird Dragon to Boob ratio this season?  I don't remember seeing any boobs but we got to see a dragon last night.
  17. I'm wondering why I'm not stalkable and what do I need to do to become stalkable?
  18.   I'm not sure is any rule that puts the burden on the SO/RO because every penalty for unsafe gun handling/ND ends in DQ for the shooter.   It's like Unload and Show Clear. If it goes bang at hammer down it's the shooter who gets DQ'd, why didn't the SO/RO see that the gun wasn't clear when the shooter showed them an empty chamber.
  19. They ran all the bays but one hot at the Carolina Cup. It really wasn't a problem because after you shot that stage you were cold again.
  20. In my defense my comment about the gayness was made in jest.
