Die Hard didn't make me run out and buy a HK P7....but it sure did introduce to me the P7. I got a hard chrome P7M13 so maybe there was a little influence there and just not that it was first one I ran across when I could afford one.

I hope they get the movie based on "Lights Out" done. I'm wanting to see Gunny and the Karate Man in action!

Yeah that's where a friend found it on facebook and I sent them a message. It's like 5 mins from my house so I'm a little excited.

  That's the best idea! Take more to get a HIT instead of a maybe hit with DA.   Head shots in the neck on stage 1?  That's where I always screw up because I just can't get myself to shoot to 2 to body......STOP  1 to the head.

  You might have to if you can't source a good supply of 147 grain 9mm. That is if you want it to be as quite as possible. I still haven't convinced my NFA loving friend that he needs to reload when he says he can't find any 147s LOL

  I agree with that. It is a mental disease but it's not owning a gun that is the cause. It's the "urban thug"  lifestyle and religious zealotry that is the cause. 

I have to wear a t shirt under mine because of that. Here is my Glock 34 pre-stippled.

  I still can't touch a gun without hearing Dad's voice " If you touch that gun without my supervision I'll bust that ass boy!"     The anti's will use this to their own ends but if the kid had picked up a hammer and hit one of the others in the head you wouldn't hear a peep about it. 

  I've often times wonder how much of the hate comes from "my gun was unreliable" (because I had no clue what I was doing and got a picky flavor of 1911 to start with) vs "The gun was a lemon because of X, Y and Z reasons with evidence".     I personally have had 5 Kimbers over the years and currently have 2 of them. Only had 2 issues...1) they like to be oiled after sitting in the safe for a while   and 2) My 45 didn't like brass that had been on a moon clip. That was a good jam on the extractor and hard to clear on the clock!

I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole...because i'd have to run out and buy one if I did! Now we need picks of the reloader cranking out those sweet sub sonic bullets :D

The greatest feat of gunsmithery was convincing people that Glocks are 1911s and need to be customized to work more better. I can see stippling and cutting the slide for a RDS. I can even see added slide serrations if the end user needs them (I love checkered front strap on a 1911). But some of this stuff just seems to be for the chicks dig it factor.....and by chicks I mean dudes at the range who worry about what pants Costas is wearing this week.   They get good reports in the gun mags I read so good luck with your purchase.

You're rather handy! I have a Zac but I don't use it that often. It is really comfortable even with my G34. It doesn't move around much but that could be because I'm fat and where I carry it. Mostly it gets used for loaded gun in the truck times.

They can ask you anything they like, you don't have to answer or even answer truthfully.   But the asking the asker an equally inappropriate question is the fun way to handle it.
