  1. Yup... it does exactly what a $20ish dollar plastic holster is suppose to do. I still have mine. Beat and scratched all up, but still has its place and use.
  2. I recently saw a guy wearing his the same way. It made me take a second look at it... and I remember thinking to my self "Hmmmm... that loosk just like a SOB holster."
  3. Yeah... but it's like driving your friend's really nice car. It's fun, and nice of him and all... but it's that smile on your buddy's face in the rear view mirror as you drive off in your pinto. That... that... grin. LOL! If it's any consolation... I've never loathed such a nice guy.
  4. It's okay Poak... we all do.
  5. Don't even think about printing industry (not that you would) it's been devastated.
  6. I just wish David would just say what he really felt... he's so hard to read sometimes...
  7. The link is only a picture. Do you have a news announcement or anything?
  8. +10 for the M-Tac. Best thing I have ever bought that was gun related. At our last congregational shoot I even carried it instead of my paddle holster. For me it's the most comfortable holster I have.
  9. "Used?" or... "pre-enjoyed?"
  10. Every time you buy a box of .357 sig... an angel gets it's wings. And well... that just makes the extra expense okay by me.
  11. I just hope your buying AMERICAN hamsters. It easy to fall into the old trap of "Other forums are using chinese hamsters... if we're going to compete... we just have to!" mindset. A chinese hamster head doesn't send the message you want. You just come across as cheap, and uncaring in your threats.
  12. That's enough to make me start saving for a .40 barrel now.
  13. Tarsus Model 85, no hammer, .38 five shot. (Go ahead... laugh.) Bought it when I was 21 and "carried" it for years. Great little shooter.
  14. I have shot an MP5 myself. Really enjoyed it and was very impressed. It will be a long time before I can afford a semi MP5 9mm... much less a full auto one. So this is pretty much the closest I can come without borrowing one.
  15. We need a law passed that says if a business owner posts not allowing lawful HCP holders to carry, then they are held liable in the event of a patron is assaulted, harmed or killed on their premises (including the parking lot). If they do not post then the owner is then not liable for the actions of the lawful HCP holder in the event they use their weapon in an act of self defense. Basically, you remove a patron's ability to defend themselves, then they assume the legal responsibility to provide a completely safe environment. If they can't... then they don't need to deny a patron the means to defend themselves. So I think the manager needs to escort me and my wife to our car. (It would be hilarious if a bunch of people started asking the manager after a meal to have staff escort us out to our car. LOL!!!)
  16. I've wanted one too. I like the looks of them, and the fact it would be a very affordable to shoot "fun gun".
  17. wow... talk about your cold chills.
  18. I've never been under fire, much less been in a situation where a position I was trying to hold was endanger of being over run. I would imagine it is a very high stress environment to say the least, where emotions would be running really high. Can't say what I would do. Back to the M-4's... I'd be interested in reading more about what happened when the final report is issued.
  19. Obama... he can do anything.
  20. Hilarious "Prize!"

    Knob Creek

We're not going after all. Friday was our only real day we could go and the weather is looking too bad to make the long drive with the kids. Looks like it's next year for me.
  22. Got it. Thanks David!
  23. Anyone want to take a look at some screen shots, and is in teh IT/Web Server field... I could use some input. Think I have a site that is being "Penetration Tested". Or the beginning of some sort of DoS attack is about to start. Rather not go into it on the board. Anyone interested in throwing out an opinion... shoot me a PM please. Thanks!
  24. Some people like to haggle and some don't. I really don't, especially over the price of a new gun. I'll just go somewhere else with out saying a word to anyone. I'm the silent shopper. But that is just me. Bought a spring there years ago for my AR because I was in a bind. Charged $3 bucks. Year later at another store just happen to mention in conversation about needing to pick up some spare springs. They gave me a few without even asking. That shop already had most of my business (though it's a bit of a drive)... now they have my loyalty too. Small acts of kindness goes a long way in my book. It builds the relationship. The place has a great inventory, one of the best... some there are real friendly and the place is always busy (a good sign). Unfortunately, no one is guaranteed a second chance in life. That is why first impressions are so important.
  25. Will do.
