  1. Oh, I think that's exactly what we can expect in November. Based on their behavior towards their constituents, many of the incumbents seem to believe that they are entitled to their offices and won't let a silly little thing like defeat oust them from those positions to which they believe themselves to be ordained by God Himself.
  2. I hope he makes more idiotic comments like this between now and November. The most clueless president we've had in my lifetime.
  3. Is this the very same Chris Kyle who claims to have decked Jesse Ventura?
  4. Saw the pics this morning. That's a beautiful knife, CB! Congratulations!
  5. I have used Pop's Car Wash in Franklin many times with good results.
  6. “We don’t want to offend other cultures,†they quoted her as explaining. The fact is that Miss Hawkins is offended by the song, and in true "progressive" fashion, is abusing her position to force her preferences on others, which, I'm pretty sure, is NOT in her job description.
  7. This guy does some nice work. http://www.levergunleather.com/p_buttstock_covers.htm
  8. It's called lack of integrity.
  9. This kind of thinking from a LEO should trouble us all.
  10. If you think these folks were sore losers, just wait till The One loses in November. There will be more threats issued against the GOP and the Tea Party than you can shake a stick at. Most of them will come from the Black Panties.
  11. and calls Islam a threat.... Another one sees the light. http://www.tennessean.com/article/20120609/NEWS06/306090023/Murfreesboro-mosque-supporter-switches-sides-says-Islam-threat-?odyssey=mod|newswell|text|FRONTPAGE|s
  12. I can't say that I find NF annoying, but I have yet to be able to sit through one of his long-winded videos. I have made several knife purchases based on his reviews and have not been disappointed. No one can argue the fact that he has a huge fan base.
  13. We have a man at church who does this. I avoid him if I possibly can. Part of it is that I am carrying and I don't want to be "made". And besides that, I can't stand it either.
  14. "We believe this was an isolated incident." Wasn't very isolated as far as the victim was concerned. National parks aren't any safer than any place else as long as the general public has access to them.
  15. I carry my M&P 45c in a Safepacker when I'm working out in the yard. I love the protection from the elements as well as dirt and other stuff it gives the weapon and the extra mags I carry in it. I also keep it in the car when I am traveling. And, even though it will make me seem paranoid, I take it in the shower with me and drop in in the towel rack so it's right there in the unlikely event that I needed it. The other day I was getting it off the rack and I dropped it. It hit the tile floor with a thud, but the padding and thick nylon protected it well and there was no damage to either the weapon or the tile floor. I'm sold on them.
  16. I've said all along that the gun haters are perfectly willing for any number of innocents to die in order to "prove their case". In fact, I believe they wish for it to happen. Doesn't matter who it is, as long as it ain't them.
  17. Rounding up a group of citizens and handcuffing them in the name of "finding a criminal" is not law enforcement. It's laziness and dumbassery.
  18. Of all of the spaghetti westerns with Clint Eastwood, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly is probably my favorite. Open Range is terrific.Duvall and Costner are perfect together.
  19. Well, let's put you in the same situation where several cops are issuing conflicting commands, one telling you to drop your weapon, another telling you not to move and see how it comes out. There were witnesses that gave statements to that effect. There were many things at play here. The employee handled it very badly and gave the dispatcher the impression that there was a crazed druggie in the store with a gun, and that's what was communicated to the responding units. Not too hard to see what happened here.
  20. So, because he didn't leave, the police were justified in gunning him down? Scott left when they evacuated the building, then the employee identified him to police, who then gave him conflicting commands. He took his weapon off to surrender it to police. They then opened fire, because they were too stupid to know when someone was disarming vs. drawing on them. Someone took a photo of Scott's Kimber Ultra still in the holster laying on the ground. This was not a good shoot by the police. In fact, based on all the evidence, I'd call it murder.,
  21. When it comes to the sanctity of my home and the safety and security of my family, then yeah.... the name's Billy... Billy Bad-@ss.
  22. I agree with the Rendezvous crowd. First time I ever had dry ribs - now I don't like them any other way. Plus, the whole Rendezvous experience is unique. I've only been once, but if I ever make it back to Memphis, I'm going back. And whether or not you were an Elvis fan, Graceland is worth checking out.
  23. The NAACP will be along shortly to call him an uncle tom and accuse him of being a slave to the GOP.
  24. I wonder if it was one of those high capacity revolvers like on TV... you know, the ones that hold 19 rounds??
  25. Haven't you heard??? Liberals know what's best for everyone, so just shut up and take it up the rectum, buddy.
