So, has anyone watched this filth yet? The tv ads did a great job of making it look pretty low-class.

While not dedicated to firearms, the only shows of this genre that I halfway enjoy watching are Pawn Stars and Auction Hunters. Gun transactions are handled in a no-nonsense manner and without any drama or stupidity (except maybe for Chumlee). I do like to watch Ton's face light up when he and Alan discover guns in one of their lockers.

Feinstein wants only the military and the police to have "assault" weapons so that they can put down the inevitable rebellion that they KNOW is coming.

I'm going to put my tinfoil hat on and say that I'm not ruling out the possibility that the gun-hating left had something to do with this. We all know that they wish for things like this to happen so they can beat their anti-freedom drum even harder. And when nothing happens to support their lunatic views on gun control, do they resort to drastic measures and make it happen? Maybe, I dunno. Is it probable? Dunno. Is it impossible? No.

This isn't the first time I've read a story about the gang problem in Chattanooga. Is it really worse than anyplace else in the state (excluding Memphis)?

I don't know of any instances personally, but when chambering a round in my Bersa Thunder UC9 and decocking, I make sure I'm not pointing my weapon at anything I'm not willing to destroy.

Good discussion on this. I've never checked a firearm, but I'm going to San Antonio with family in October and am pretty sure I'm taking my carry weapon with me. Probably will fly Southwest.
