Those of you who think there should be some kind of psych evaluation as part of the permit application - are you sure that you would pass it? Do you want the gubmit setting those kind of parameters and deciding whether or not you are psychologically fit to be able to carry a weapon? I don't.

I don't let this kind of stuff bother me any more. I don't have any control over what other people do, so it's just not worth getting upset about.

Oh, they absolutely are. I've had the knife addiction for about 6 months now and it's keeping my wallet pretty flat. Now I'm into discontinued blades for some reason. Wish I could find a plain edged Random Leek for a good price.

My dad practiced general medicine for 40 years. He knew quite a few psychiatrists and his observation was that many of them were just as crazy if not crazier than their patients.

I can't find anything to disagree with him about, tactically or politically speaking. I choose to carry concealed simply because I don't want the attention in either situation.

I see fault on both sides here. The utility worker had no business touching the homeowner. That's a no-no. He should have either called his supervisor or left. The meter didn't have to be installed right then and there. The homeowner had no business bringing her weapon into it. Her life was not being threatened. I'd say that either one of them has cause to charge the other with assault.

Yet that's exactly what the Nashville Metro Council did when they voted to withhold government contracts from any business who doesn't have a non-discrimination policy to their liking. Talk about forcing your views on others.

Well, now, I feel cheated. My HCP class had an asshat in attendance, and so did my son's when he took it last year. I just thought the instructors were required to have at least one in each class.

Thanks OS... I don't really have much use for an extremely rust resistant blade, but the Landslide is a really nice looking knife. I may just go back tomorrow and take a chance on it.

I was over at Freidman's today looking at knives and they had a Lone Wolf Landslide in N680. I can't find much at all on either the knife or the steel, so I get the impression that both are new. SRP on the knife is $80. They sell it for $54.99. I almost bought one, but decided to wait till I could get some more information, at least on the steel. Anyone know anything about it?
