  1. What do you think Ben Franklin meant when he said that?
  2. Talk to Tom over at Lock Stock and Barrel off of Columbia Ave in Franklin.
  3. You and I agree on this. But I would take it further by saying that the very fact that the TSA has expanded its encroachment on the rights of airline passengers to bus terminals and now to additional checks on drinks after travelers have already cleared their intrusive security procedures seems to suggest that they quietly acknowledge their inability to deter terrorist activity and are simply looking for ways to justify their existence. And if that doesn't do it, don't be surprised when they show up at interstate rest areas and start setting up random checkpoints on state highways, and at malls, movie theaters, etc.
  4. Some theories about why people are indifferent about reports of TSA abuses: http://www.popehat.c...-by-tsa-abuses/
  5. There are those who believe they can have both, when, in reality, it simply doesn't work that way.
  6. Hey, the TSA did a bang up job catching that guy, didn't they? Sounds like you would have more success letting them get on the plane and then letting the passengers deal with them.
  7. They've caught people who forgot they had a weapon in their bag. Big deal. How many dangerous objects/weapons have been missed at TSA checkpoints? Plenty. Real effective, huh? TSA gives the illusion of safety, nothing more. The sheeple need to feel safe, regardless of whether or not they actually are. This is exactly WHY our rights have dwindled over the years, because people are complacent and rationalize by telling themselves that the government really does care about them. They think that by giving up their rights they will be protected. What How do you boil a frog?
  8. And it's unionized.
  9. How many terrorists has the TSA caught since they were created? How many times should someone be checked? When is it enough?
  10. Even if it was full, I think I would walk over to the nearest trash receptacle and chuck it just to spite them.
  11. Yet some here are perfectly OK with the taxfeeders coming in without a warrant and taking someone away, if THEY think he is nuts. They are the same ones who will tell you that the Patriot Act was bad legislation, yet they can't see the disconnect or the hypocrisy. So much for constitutional rights and liberty for all.
  12. A good quality gun belt is a necessary part of a complete carry system, IMO.
  13. And there's this as well: http://www.infowars.com/confirmed-the-tsa-is-ordering-travelers-to-freeze-on-command/ I don't frequent Alex Jones' website, but there was a link to it, and the story has been confirmed.
  14. So now we have to submit to yet ANOTHER search before we board a commercial flight? WTF? http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/09/robert-farago/note-to-tsa-foad/ It's time to get rid of the TSA.
  15. This is commonplace in RURAL Tennessee at least. Don't know about the urban areas. Just be sure you watch out for 20 and 30 something females driving big honkin' SUVs while yakkin' on their cell phones. They're dangerous.
  16. After he won the 2008 election, Barry declared "Change has come to America". I guess we just need to embrace it whether we like it or not. Those old silly traditions are outdated anyway, just like the Constitution.
  17. I can't tell you how much I despise change just for the sake of change.
  18. I don't believe that's what he was saying AT ALL. I don't believe you do, either.
  19. Gun bans are da bomb, ain't they?
  20. Are those gay marriages or are they marriages between a man and a woman? Besides, who's calling for legislation against gay marriage? From what I've seen, most of the attempts at legislation FOR gay marriage have failed. The voters don't want it legalized or it would have already happened. The onus is on the gay community to show how SSM will benefit society, which they have failed to do. Instead, they have tried to shirk that responsibility by trying to demonize anyone who questions their lifestyle. Looks like they need to work on their PR instead of calling names.
