Where would you shoot.......head or body
daddyo replied to chances R's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Do people still wear coats? From what I've seen, at most people wear a hoodie or lightweight fleece. And most people seem either too lazy to put on warm clothing or they don't realize that it's cold outside, so heavy clothing shouldn't be too much of a factor if you find yourself in a SD situation. -
I used to be a night owl, but I didn't recognize it when my sleep patterns started changing. I would wake up after a couple hours and lie there for another couple hours. I finally started going to bed early and it helped, but I still wasn't getting enough rest. Finally had my doc write me a Rx for something to help. Now I sleep six hours without waking up and am a lot less grumpy. Sometimes I can sleep till 5 or so, but that is seldom. And pulling an all nighter? I would be a zombie.
My next door neighbor is a real jerk. We are on 5 acre tracts and on the other side of me is a 200 acre bean field that can't be built on because it is river bottom land that floods. Anyway, me neighbor always mows his yard before I do, keeps his place very neat, decks the place out for christmas, never bothers us... I know he's doing all that just to make me look bad. I just know it!
You're doing it wrong.
I'm still waiting for a satellite to fall out of orbit and land on my neighbor's house. They moved in 5 years ago and it has been nothing but trouble since. Police have been involved twice.
I've been waiting for the same thing. All I got was a hot air balloon passing overhead yesterday.

I have a niece who thinks like this. When I asked her what she would do if she suddenly found her life being threatened by some hulk who outweighed her by a couple hundred pounds, she said "Well, I guess if it were my time to go, then that would be OK.". LOL Wut? How can someone have so little regard for her own life as to just hand it over to some douchebag?
-
Know how some people are only good for annoying others? Absolutely NO regard for anyone else. He likes his property rights, but to hell with everyone else's, particularly those residing on either side of him. I go out of my way not to be a nuisance, and as a result can't understand how others can be so oblivious about being such jerks. This guy moves out here in the country and talks about how much he loves the peace and quiet, but sure loves to make noise and couldn't care less that anyone else is annoyed by it. I tried talking to him politely about the excessive noise his idiot offspring were making when they were teenagers, but he told me in so many words to FOAD. I've had to endure being awakened in the wee hours of the morning, people driving through my yard, trash being thrown over the property line, aggressive dogs, and general asshattery. Even had to get the county involved once it got so bad, and that eventually stopped it. The two previous neighbors who lived in that house were great and we got along really well, so it's not because I am hard to get along with. I just can't tolerate people who have no respect for others and seem to enjoy creating animosity. Rant over.

Yeah, I get that, but I know that my church would never have sponsored such an event.

Glad I'm not a member of that church....

Don't you just love it when some know-it-all college student who doesn't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground tries to tell you what you need and don't need? Just take a look at this bovine scat - this is what our educational system is producing: http://www.tnhonline...91#.UKejHIfBH10

I can even see them passing a law that says if you currently have a 401K, then you have to choose... either your 401K or government retirement (including Social Security), but not both. Bastards.

Puppy Shot And Killed For Wandering Into Neighbor's Yard
daddyo replied to daddyo's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
What??? You mean there are cops who shoot innocent little dogs? -
As stated in the video, this is a growing trend. I'm wondering if there's such a place as this in Middle TN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0uPdkhMVdMQ

Puppy Shot And Killed For Wandering Into Neighbor's Yard

I believe this worthless POS shot the puppy because he was mad at the neighbor. The puppy was not a threat to him or anyone on his property. -
