Are dealers raising prices on inventory that they had before the panic buying started or are they having to pay more at wholesale to turn a profit?

Not gonna worry about something over which I have no control. For the time being, I have what I need.

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't find the recoil on a .45 ACP any more unpleasant or more difficult to shoot than a 9mm. The .45 pushes back into the hand, whereas the 9mm has more flip at the muzzle end. But I enjoy shooting both.   That said, I would recommend a M&P 45 either full size or compact all day long.

  I think this is part of the gun grabbers' strategy - showcase the blowhards and present them as being representative of the gun "culture" and as such, very dangerous to the public at large. By doing so, they hope to gain the support they need for their agenda, constitution or no constitution.

And if the gun grabbers had their way, this 15-yr old would not have had the means to defend himself and his sister and might have ended up dead.   They'll try their best to bury this story.

I believe that, by making all these preposterous threats to ban this and that, they're trying to flush out the nutjobs like James Yeager so they can point to them and say "See? These people are whacked!! We have to get their weapons away from them!!".   They know that what they say they're going to do will never stand scrutiny.

I believe the WH is trying to push us over the edge. By making outlandish statements regarding Second Amendment rights that they KNOW are in direct conflict with Constitutional principles, they are hoping to force all the nutjobs out of the woodwork so they can show the American people just how unhinged we gun owners are. This strategy is not beneath them.   It's saber rattling at best.

  I don't believe it is implied either. I do believe that the muslim population in general presents a very real threat to our way of life because of what their faith teaches about other faiths.   They have already tried to institute sharia in parts of Europe.

I don't understand why people refuse to believe that our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. It is a known fact from their writings that many of the founders were deists.   Why is that so hard to accept?
