  When my son took his HCP class, I went with him for the range part. There was a woman there who had never fired a handgun before, and her late husband had given her a Gen 1 G19. It had never been fired before. More than one person offered to buy it from her, but she declined.

Why is it that so many people think that the Constitution should take a back seat to their feelings?

This will be my first time to see them in concert. Anyone else going?   I've been a fan for quite a while now, and I always said that if they ever came back to Nashville, I'm going.    Haven't been to a concert in decades. I'm expecting to see a mix of young and old there tonight.

  Just got back from there about an hour ago. It was wet but fun, and the wife enjoyed it as well. I didn't buy anything, but there were a couple of knife dealers that were worth stopping and talking to.

I'd say that the majority of those with an HCP don't really know how to carry. There is definitely a learning curve to it; I have a whole drawer full of holsters that didn't work for me, but it's all trial and error. Most people couldn't be bothered.   Plus, some people with HCPs think they know when they need to carry and when they don't.  :doh:

Lately for me it's been a M&P9c carried OWB at 4:00 in a Black Dog Concealment kydex pancake holster with a double mag carrier opposite, all riding on a 1-1/2" Bullhide belt, all covered with an untucked shirt.   No worries for me.

Honestly, I've been waiting for my doctor to drop the hammer. He's my age, and when Obama was first elected, he said "this is going to be bad.".   Wouldn't surprise me if he closed up shop any day now.

"Ninety-two percent of the American people want universal background checks."   What a HUGE lie. But then, I don't expect any politician who likes to trample on the American people's constitutional rights to have integrity.
