1.   You know Jesus?   What's funny about this is that my account wasn't even under my daddyo pseudonym. Nice try, though.   And this is a prime example of what I'm talking about. Bring this up, voice your disagreement with the gay agenda and they will make it about you and not the issue, just like the gun grabbers.   Mods, please shut this down. It's run its course.
2.   Yeah, I keep forgetting that it's a very small minority that screams bloody murder about it and wants to rub it in people's faces.
3.   Point taken. I'm referring to the politically active radical element. I realize they aren't all the same. I should have clarified and been more specific.
4.   How does it affect you personally? If you walk to the door of a restaurant and you see a "no guns" sign, is that the only place there is to eat? Will you go hungry that day because they won't let you enter with your firearm?   No, you take your business elsewhere. How would you like it if people started giving you grief for that decision, which you are 100% free to make?   The way things are going and they way I see it, one day it will be a crime to even voice your disagreement with anything having to do with gay rights, even as an individual. These people have no problem removing the First Amendment rights of people THEY view as intolerant, bigoted, homophobic, yada, yada, yada.   You know, "social justice", and all that jazz.
5.   I looked through that list and didn't see a single Google-owned company that I support with my income.
6.   Let's just say he was a typical gun counter employee with an attitude.  :grouchy:
7.       They made their statement, I'm making mine. Recognizing and extending benefits to homosexual employees and their partners is really not quite the same thing as throwing a rainbow next to your logo and making what is really a political statement, knowing that you would alienate some of your members.I truly don't care if I'm the only one who cancels my account. I'm not stupid enough or arrogant enough to think that I'm going to start a movement of some kind, nor is that my intention.   What I don't get are people who seem to consider it a personal attack when someone doesn't support their agenda.
8. I just asked the wife and she said Evans Glass in Nashville might be worth a look.   www.evansglasscompany.com
9.   OK, well, I can take a joke as well as the next guy. But it's hard to tell on a forum. Smileys will add a bit of joviality to your posts and we'll know you're pulling our leg.   See? Like that.
10.   So, if I choose not to support a company/organization that makes its support of a cause public that I disagree with, then I deserve to be called a name?   I don't get it.
11.   Last time I checked, none of my cars had a rainbow decal on them announcing the fact.
12. Nuttin' but a buncha big talk. That's it.
13. I just canceled my YouTube account. They have a big rainbow heart by their logo and when you hover over it, it says "YouTube celebrates LGBT pride". Sorry, but I cannot and will not support that.
14. Alaska is a beautiful state. I totally get why people move there. Went on a cruise a couple of years ago and got to see just a small part of it.
15. If any of the other customers were anti gun, this event hopefully changed their minds.
16. So, I'm confused. Was it a B-17 or a B-29?
17. Thanks, graycrait. I figured I would have to order it online.
18. Went to both Walmart and Academy and neither one had what I needed, but I kind of figured that would be the case. But I don't think I'll be going back to Academy anytime soon, because the guy at the gun counter was a complete asshat.
19. On graycrait's recommendation, I lightly sanded the damaged area and got it to where I think it's pretty smooth: I don't feel any bumps or burrs when I run my finger over it and can't see any rough places. I'm going by Academy or Walmart this afternoon to see if I can find some Aluminum Black.
20. About a year ago, I dropped my 442 on some aggregate pavement and it badly dinged one of the corners. It doesn't affect function, I just hate the way it looks. I was in the M'Boro area Friday, so I took it over to On Target and they said the only way to fix it was to cerakote it. If I have to do that, I'll just leave it like it is. Anyone know if there's something else I can do?
21. Oh, great. So now we'll be treated like criminals for not mowing our grass.   Violating a neighborhood ordinance doesn't give a cop a license to be a major a**hole.   Is anything legal nowadays?
22.   I've always wondered about this. The last new car I bought was an '86 Mazda pickup. SInce then, it's been nothing but used. Several of them have been owned by family members who bought them new, so I have a pretty good idea of how they have been maintained and whether or not they've been in an accident.   I've never added up the cost of maintaining a used vehicle vs. a new one under warranty. It might be that the new one is less expensive in the long run, I dunno.
