I love my child, so if he came home one day and said he was gay, that wouldn't change anything as far as my love for him is concerned. However, he would jump into that pool knowing that I simply could not support his decision to marry another man. I have made my views on the issue very clear to everyone in my family.   Love is a decision.

  No, I don't think they care, nor are they even aware that I canceled it as I did not make a big deal out of it.   It's very interesting that so many people want to point out that me canceling my account doesn't make any difference. It makes a difference to ME.

  The only problem I see here is that marriage is not a right as it is not mentioned anywhere in the bill of rights.   I have to agree with TMF; the whole "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness" thing is very subjective.

Does someone who is gay not have the very same constitutional rights that I have? If not, which ones?

  "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is how I believe that goes.   Do you believe that calling others hypocrites and liars is consistent with that idea? And if you even did it, how about trying to create a YouTube channel under the name "daddyoisgay"? Does that fall into the category of practicing the Golden Rule?

  So why do you think you know better than they did? Were you alive when Jesus was supposedly walking around?   Do you have an agenda?   Did you read the part where Jesus talks about marriage being between a man and a woman?
