  1. A little "tolerance" for you, courtesy of "Angry Queers":   http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/christian-preachers-brutally-beaten-at-gay-pride-festival.html
  2. Shhhhh. The gun haters don't want anyone to know.
  3. Good for her and good for you for teaching her so well.   If there's one thing I have no patience for, it's a neighbor who thinks that they can just waltz over to your property uninvited any time they wish, poke their nose in your bidness and then offer their ignorant opinions on things they know nothing about.
  4.   So, then it's not there. Thanks for admitting it.   You apparently don't think much of traditional marriage or people of faith, so I guess we're even.   It's people who can't help but insult, mock and generally act like 5 year olds about it who incline me to think negatively about gay marriage.
  5.   Unless you can point it out to me, it's not there.   And just because you don't like something doesn't make it invalid.
  6.   Exactly which part? I don't see it.
  7.   Where did that come from? Did someone say that you shouldn't have married because you didn't plan to have children, or are you just trying to put words in someone's mouth?

    Chaka Khan

We were invited by some friends of ours to go see Chaka Khan at the Schermerhorn Center last night. She was one of those artists I never paid much attention to back in the 70s and 80s, but I always liked her voice.   Her first set was with backup band only, and she did several of her songs that I recognized; some I didn't even know she had recorded but remembered hearing them on the radio.   The second set was with the Nashville symphony, and it was superb.   Let me just tell you, the woman still has it at age 60. I was blown away at her stage presence and musicianship. Her act is very interactive and she got several in the audience involved in a couple of songs by handing them the microphone and letting them belt it out.   It was a fun evening.
  9. You guys please do let us know when you've gotten all the little personal insults and childishness out of your systems. Meanwhile, the adults will continue the discussion.
  10.   Let me ask it a different way - how many intoxicated drivers are taken off the road, on average, per roadblock effort?
  11.   +1. I've got three of their belts and they do the job of carrying my firearm and spare mags with ease. I can carry OWB under a shirt or sportcoat and be completely concealed without any printing whatsoever.   If you get on their mailing list they will send you a list of clearance belts about once a month or so that can save you some money off their regular retail price.
  12.   There's a distinct difference between making a political statement and being non-discriminatory towards your workforce.
  13.   That's a great example of someone who believes in freedom without responsibility.
  14. I'm saving up for one of these:   http://www.worksharptools.com/wskts/knife-tool-sharpener-%7C-ken-onion-edition/flypage.pbv.tabs.tpl.html   All the features of the original WS but with more options!
  15. Well, it IS a good time to be in the tattoo business, that's for sure.
  16. Pimento cheddar cheese on sourdough bread with fresh tomato slices.   That's what I'm having.  :pleased:
  17.   Don't drink any of those. But at the risk of repeating myself, I haven't seen any of those companies wave the gay pride flag and publicly announce their support for it.   That was my point from the beginning.   It's interesting that some say that they're all in favor of freedom to live the way you want to and to be left alone (I'm for that too), but when someone takes issue with something like gay pride, or just voices a disagreement about it, then all of a sudden we're intruding, even infringing, on their freedom.   I don't know of any American citizen, regardless of his/her sexual preference, who doesn't have the same constitutional rights that I do. None.
  18.   Yes, we are. But once upon a time, we were just as young as you!
