  1. With a valid permit, yes, handgun carry in your vehicle is legal.
  2. The whole problem I have with these kinds of roadblocks is that presumption of guilt is present.   Why should I have to prove that I am not guilty of committing a crime by submitting to a field sobriety test if there is no reasonable suspicion?
  3. I do more and more of my shopping online. Saves gas, time and money. Plus, I don't have to worry about violating silly "gun free" zones.   Winning!

  5. I'm having part of my yard landscaped in October, in the same area where I got the pee stung out of me in July. Can't wait to see what they dig up.
  6. Isn't it funny how they demonized GWB for invading Iraq, but when the Big O want's to prove how big his manhood is, they're all for it?
  7. Someone does something like that and you catch him in the act, you SHOULD be able to give him what he deserves without ANY penalty whatsoever.
  8. As an M&P9c owner, I've never felt the need to replace it with a Shield. I have no problems at all concealing the compact.   If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
  9.   All the more reason to carry on your person while at home. That puts you in complete control of the firearm and in doing so, you can keep a round chambered.
  10.   Something tells me you got your ass beat for a lot more than that!
  11. If it works for you, great. Use it and be happy with it. Traditional holsters work just fine for me and I see no reason to change.
  12. It's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
  13. It's amazing that some people think that carrying with an empty chamber is safer.   One in the pipe - always.
  14. I am going to make it a point to visit a Starbucks or two this Saturday. I might even open carry for the first time.
  15.   Yes, but I bet there are a lot of disappointed gun haters who were just salivating over the prospect of some dead children.
  16. Success used to be rewarded. Now it's punished.    Sounds to me like the librarian is jealous.
  17. Sounds like someone might be butt hurt over the failure of gun control legislation and taking matters into their own hands.
  18. Further into the segment, O'Reilly comments on the Oprah Winfrey/Swiss sales clerk incident. I don't agree with his assessment that minorities have it tougher in America than whites. That used to be the case, but not anymore. Minorities are given preference in almost every aspect of life nowadays, from hiring to qualifying for student loans, to say nothing about the preferential treatment they get in the criminal justice system. So, on that account, O'Reilly is flat out wrong.   I do, however, agree with his comments about Al "Resist We Much" Sharpton. The man is nothing more than a race pimp.
  19. From my own experience:   I asked our local IHOP about a 10% discount and was told they only discount the items from the senior menu.   McDonald's senior coffee is a small that is usually less than 50 cents.   Sport Clips also gives a senior discount to people 55 and over.
  20.   And that will never change, no matter what we do.
  21. Was the judge basing her decision on case law or personal preference?
