  1. I fell in love with Sandra when she did "Speed" with Keanu Reeves. She gets my vote. The other chick is just nasty...
  2. If you're referring to size, a full size 1911 is just as easy to conceal as a 3" 1911 with the right holster. I'm afraid you're going to have to do what the rest of us did - buy several and see which one works best for you.
  3. That alone should be enough of a deterrent. At least it is for me...
  4. Call S&W and ask them where you can find finger extensions for the mags.... they will ship them to you for free.
  5. "Harry", if that is indeed his real name, has had his head up his ass for so long and so far that he better have shades on if he ever decides to pull it out.
  6. The OP said, "So did I make a good buy or did I waste my money?". I gave him my opinion. I should have qualified it by saying that it is fine for a plinker, but with the cost of the ammo, why would you? I do not own an elsiepea and I never will. I had a P3AT when I didn't know any better and I sold it when I realized that the caliber is not adequate for self defense because it is not a fight stopper. If you want to trust your life to one, be my guest. I won't. Not trying to start a caliber war. The man asked for opinions; I gave him mine.
  7. I would vote, but I carry using a variety of different methods. OWB is probably my favorite right now in a pancake holster, but that may be because my pants are tight enough as it is....
  8. Would definitely take the pooch to a vet just to be on the safe side. I don't live on a farm, but I do live in a rural community in Williamson County. I am always armed, especially every time I step outside, for protection from both 2- and 4-legged predators. Hope your 4-legged friend is going to be OK.
  9. Of course, from the time this became law last July, until the time it was repealed by the activist judge, there was not a SINGLE instance of anyone with a HCP accidentally shooting someone, much less in a "bar". But the Tinnysean won't print that little factoid.

    Para GI Expert

If I were picking a basic 1911, the Para is probably the one I would go with.
  11. You asked, so I'll tell you - you wasted your money.
  12. I think she should be tarred and feathered first...
  13. There's nothing like a well made pancake holster. Nice looking rig.
  14. Did that once in Charlotte NC at the August Jam in 1974. Once was enough for me.
  15. The key to being accurate with the Sigma is pulling the trigger straight back. When I started doing that and not "squeezing" the trigger, the gun became deadly accurate. All of a sudden I was hitting center mass at 25 yards.
  16. A good leather holster is a work of art.
  17. I don't begrudge anyone the "fun" factor of owning a Judge. I just don't think anyone should fool themselves into believing that it's an adequate carry weapon. I love my little Phoenix Arms HP22 for plinking in the back yard, but it would be stupid on my part to depend on it to save my life.
  18. You would be wrong on that one.
  19. When ammo became scarce, CTD was the FIRST supplier to start gouging. They didn't merely raise their prices, they started charging exorbitant prices. I'll never patronize them again. Whenever I get one of their catalogs in the mail, it immediately goes in the trash.
  20. You can get these all day long on Amazon.com.
  21. Bud's Gun Shop will sell these for under $500 from time to time. I got mine for $439 shipped less than a year ago.
  22. Take a look at Simply Rugged Holsters (http://www.simplyrugged.com/store/index.html). I bought one of their Silver Dollar Pancake holsters for my 2-1/4" SP101 and it is well made and comfortable, plus they are only $45. I have one of the Don Hume IWB's for it, but I like the SR holster much better and it conceals just as well.
  23. I have a couple of the Kholsters. They work just as well as the Crossbreeds in my opinion but they definitely are not as polished. I do like the fact that you can customize them to your liking and still not void the warranty. I would love to try one of the high end leather rigs one day but when something works as well as the hybrids I have real trouble parting with that kind of money. The TT Gunleather rigs are much more affordable and get great reviews. I might venture out this year and try one of theirs for my 1911 or my M&P9c.
  24. Crossbreed Supertuck is a good choice.
  25. Depends on how you want to carry it. IWB or OWB? Crossdraw or strong side? Leather or Kydex or a combination of both?
