Shotgun is far superior to a handgun for home defense. I'll take the risk of not being able to hear over living to see another day. Plus, the body compensates when it is under extreme duress. I doubt any permanent hearing damage would result from having to discharge your 12 gauge indoors.

The doc was making a statement and exercising HIS First Amendment rights, while he still can. Funny how the stinking liberals think that freedom of speech applies only to themselves. The doctor is on record as saying that he would NOT deny care to anyone based on their political preference. Like many (dare I say majority?) in the healthcare profession, he is simply frustrated that Obama just made it a lot tougher to practice medicine in what is rapidly becoming the USSA (the United Socialist States of America).

Some folks are put off by the external safety and the size. I carry a Kimber Ultra Carry as my EDC, but would like to find a full size 1911 to replace it. The key is practice, practice, and more practice.

Not really. The trigger should always be covered when the weapon is holstered to prevent a negligent discharge. Mexican carry is a disaster waiting to happen and it's one of those things that gives the anti-gun nuts the fuel they need to push for more gun laws. Why do we want to help them?

Nope. I didn't get it.

I have a couple. The quality is not as good as Crossbreed, but it is a good holster for the money and it does the job. The first one I ordered for my Kimber Ultra Carry did not fit the weapon. I emailed the company and they sent me a second one at no charge, which was an exact fit. So I ended up with two for the price of one. I heated the first one in the oven enough to make the kydex soft and remolded it to fit my SW9VE. I recommend ordering a set of the kydex clips to replace the metal ones that come with it.

I am a firm believer that you can carry almost anything if you are willing to dress around the weapon, but the holster is critical to how well it can be concealed.
