Are these available?

I have a Kholster for my compact 1911, but my Crossbreed replaced it. The Kholster is a good holster for the money.

Same here with the SW9VE. I have one that I use now and then as my EDC. No problems ever. Very reliable and accurate. The trigger is pretty stiff at first but will loosen up the more you shoot it. It is one of the most underrated pistols on the market IMO. I would chose the Sigma over the Taurus.

The G36 would be my first choice, followed by the CW45. And I'll just pretend that you didn't mention Taurus in the same sentence...

Yes, the body does compensate when under stress, and the resulting adrenaline dump does provide some protection in the auditory canal. Just how much is not clear. At any rate, if I find myself in a home invasion situation, I don't have time to nor am I going to worry about putting on my hearing protection, and I believe some potential hearing loss is preferable to ending up 6 feet under. Even though I don't have any data to support it, I doubt the hearing loss suffered by discharging a 12 gauge is much worse than discharging a .357 or .45 without hearing protection.

I have the Streamlight MicroStream for pocket carry and the Stylus Pro to keep in the car. They always light my path and would not want to be without them. However, that is a very handsome flashlight.

One could argue that someone, just by virtue of having a HCP, is more than likely a law-abiding citizen and very unlikely to commit a wanton act of violence on a police officer.

I don't understand why some LEOs will disarm you while others will not. Seems like there should be some consistency one way or another.

That is an isolated incident and is not representative of the effectiveness of service calibers IN GENERAL. I can find examples of an attacker using a .380 and the victim walking away after returning fire with a service caliber weapon and killing the attacker. Cherry picking does not prove anything.
