    Pawn shop guns

If the weapon was in good shape and I could get them down to a good price, yes, I would buy from a pawn shop. I have always wanted to pay a visit to Berry's in Madison, but have just never made the time to go up there.
  4. Yes, ignorant opinions and insults for no reason tend to raise my BP a little. Done with it, though.
  5. I see you still don't get it. I don't have to provide anything. If I want to hide my SNs, then I am perfectly free to do so, without explanation or justification to you or anyone else, and without being called "paranoid" by someone who has his head up his butt. I really don't know how to make it simpler for you.
  6. +1. I have one of these cocked and locked in the corner in the bedroom. Very solid, reliable weapon. And I like the fact that I don't have a lot of money tied up in it so I can spend it on really cool stuff.
  7. Dude, get some perspective. No one has even remotely suggested that hiding SNs are a "serious risk to life and limb". What I am objecting to is the "paranoid" label. You have the right to your opinion, but that opinion should be backed up with some kind of evidence to be valid. If not, then it's worth about as much as the current US dollar, which is zippo.
  8. While I am more of a Tolkien fan, I find Rowling to be quite an author and a success story in her own right. I have been a fan of the HP series since I read the first book, as is my wife. We will go see the Deathly Hallows, but will wait a couple to three weeks.
  9. Wonder why the Israelis don't have a problem with this? Oh, wait, they.... profile!
  10. Well, let's just put it this way - calling people who you really don't know paranoid really isn't the best way to win friends and influence people....
  11. I am not questioning anyone's right to an opinion nor did I remotely suggest that anyone was trying to remove my right to hide my serial numbers. But I made that plain in my last post. The comparison was relevant. Go back and read it again. If you want to give out all your personal information, be my guest. Doesn't matter to me. But to call someone paranoid because they choose not to is pretty arrogant IMO.
  12. I know it's gonna piss some people off, but I really don't care: The answer: Profiling.
  13. NO. NO pat-downs on children. Period.
  14. Oh, in my situation, that'd be the BEST reason to do it!!!!
  15. You mean there are actually people on here that do this???? Say it ain't so!!!
  16. Are you actually trying to make the same argument that the anti-gunners make? That just because someone takes more precautions than you, they're paranoid? Really?
  17. Wonder if Strel does acid too.
  18. You da man.
  19. Exactly. I consider the serial numbers on my weapons personal information, just like the VIN on my car. I don't give my personal information out on the 'net.
  20. We used to, but the only thing we do now is hang a lit wreath on the front door.
  21. Sorry, I have no experience with either in the commander size.
  22. This: Springfield Armory
  23. Even though he was just elected to Congress, Lt. Col. Allen West has more character in his little finger than the current COC has in his whole body. Depending on how he does over the next few years, I think I might like to see him as a contender in 2016.
  24. I mean I'm starting to wonder about the information on gunfreediningtennessee.org. I've been to more than a couple of places they said were posted, but are not, like Chuy's in Cool Springs.
