    Clip or magazine?

Full rack of ribs with dry rub seasoning at Rendezvous and plenty of nakins.... Just sayin'...
  2. This is exactly WHY when I decided to carry, I gave up drinking for good. I take self-protection seriously enough that I won't take any unnecessary risks. Alcohol is an unnecessary risk.

  4. Looking for someone who can give me some direction on customizing a stock '96 Jetta Trek. Just want to make some subtle engine performance upgrades to start with, then, who knows? Car is in good shape, runs well but probably needs a tune up. I would like to squeeze some more HP out of the 2.0 engine. Where should I start?

Coming up next: Guns: Were they designed to kill?
  6. I had a gunsmith remove the external safety from my M&P9c. I couldn't figure out how to get the frame pins out. If you call S&W, they will send you, free of charge, the frame plugs to fill in the holes that are left.
  7. ^^^^^^^^^ THIS And it's not just about gunshows. There are people who gripe about everything.
  8. I'm hoping that, by your question, you don't actually carry ANY handgun in your waistband without a holster.
  9. He hasn't indicated anything about running; just wishful thinking on my part - I guess you could say that's my "dream team".
  10. I'm on the Herman Cain bandwagon myself, with Lt. Col. Allen West as his running mate.
  11. Anyone know where I might be able to find some grips for my dad's Colt Junior Commando revolver? One side is broken, and I'd like to find him some nice wooden or authentic replacements as a surprise. Thanks
  12. I literally felt faint when I read this. May God give you strength to endure this, regardless of the outcome. I have a 21 yr old son who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 6 years ago, and I worry about him every single day. Believe me, I feel your pain.
  13. Single action - of course. I wasn't thinking. Please excuse my ignorance.
  14. Wow! That's some really NICE work!!! I think I would've made it so that it covers the trigger, though.
  15. S&W J Frame loaded with .38 +P, because I'm serious about being able to protect my life.
  16. No one said it was bad, but BOTH velocity and mass are needed to be effective. I haven't met anyone yet who can defy the laws of physics.
  17. For the life of me, I just don't understand why some people think that velocity alone is all that.
  18. I think Dan probably gets the point.
  19. Even though I guess this could apply to any leather holster... SAFETY WARNING! Worn Leather Holsters Can Cause Accidental Discharges!
  20. Seemed to me he was referring to shot placement with a sufficient caliber to get the job done.
  21. Interesting. If you read this, be sure to pay attention to what he says about the .22, .25, .32, and .380 rounds... What You Need to Know About Stopping Power
  22. That's why mine stays in the corner in the bedroom till I need it. If I drop it while confronting a BG, then I'm screwed anyway...
  23. Then don't drop it.
