  1. It was a serious question. Thanks.
  2. Nope, no duty to inform, but I think it might be wise to do so if you are pulled over. They're going to find out anyway.
  3. This would be a good plan except for the fact that they would have "someone" up on charges of assault and battery.
  4. I don't know what's funnier - the OP or a bunch of "internet tough guys" accusing him of being an "internet tough guy"...
  5. So, you've tested it for yourself, then?
  6. I carry whenever I am not at work or asleep. I promote firearms ownership and right to carry to anyone who has a mind to listen.
  7. The only thing that bothers me about Sarah is her voice. I would rather listen to fingernails being scraped on a blackboard.
  8. +1. I'd get a PF9 over any .380.
  9. Define "too much".
  10. Tom at Lock, Stock and Barrel in Franklin does good work. But be sure and hold him to whatever price he quotes you.

    Facebook

Facebook is like anything else - it can be a great communication tool or it can be a huge time-waster. I deactivated my account about a year ago and don't miss it at all, but before I did I was able to re-establish contact with a good friend of mine who I had not talked to in over thirty years.
  12. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
  13. Bought a Craftsman lawn tractor a couple of years ago and would like to put some hood clamps on the sides to hold it in place. Whenever I hit a bump, the hood comes off the hooks just behind the steering wheel and I have to reposition it. Anyone know the best way to do this?
  14. I think if they didn't want anyone to carry, it would say "No firearms", period.
  15. Member's Mark Breakfast Blend, ground fresh with fat-free half and half and Splenda.
  16. Unfortunately, a lot of people believe that just the sight of their gun will make the bad guy pee his pants and hi tail it. May happen, may not. There are criminals out there who aren't the least bit afraid of a gun.
  17. Dude, it's your property. Do with it what you wish. I personally wouldn't cut into the frame of any of my handguns, but I understand the need to experiment. My only hope is that you aren't out trying to convince Glock owners that their weapons are unsafe if they don't add this. I bought a M&P9c with an external safety from Bud's a couple of years ago (at a killer price) and had a gunsmith remove the safety and install frame plugs. I just don't believe the safeties are needed on DAO carry weapons.
  18. Hey, you got all my money when I bought that Springer Loaded!!
  19. About three years ago, when I had to confirm my information for my PCP at the first of the year, one of the questions on the form was, sure enough, "Do you keep firearms in your home?". When the receptionist saw that I left it blank, she mentioned it to me, and I told her it was no one's business. She just smiled and said, "I agree". The question has never appeared on the form since.
  20. Yes, having the option was what I meant to say.
  21. 79% I remember several of those from my childhood.
  22. Automatic renewal would be a good thing.
  23. This is like open carrying into a restaurant that isn't posted and wanting to let the manager know that you're concerned that he, his employees, and patrons are unsafe because he allows weapons. It makes no sense.
