  1. OK, I was unfair to the guy and I admit I didn't watch the entire video. However, I still think he's an idiot.
  2. "No man is more hopelessly enslaved than he who believes he is free."
  3. His finger was clearly on the trigger before he acquired the target. But he blames the holster? Complete and total dumbassery.
  4. Ruger SP101 in a Simply Rugged Silver Dollar pancake holster with a speed strip and a Kershaw OSO Sweet.
  5. Maybe we could change some minds if we required open border advocates to house a family or two of illegals.

    .357 value

After you buy is not the time to wonder what it's worth.... Just enjoy it.
  7. Summer Hits of the Eighties station on Pandora
  8. I have the 442 and it goes everywhere with me, either in an ankle rig or in my pocket.
  9. Like NashVegasMatt said, it depends on what you consider "value". To me, best value in a pocket pistol is anything in a service caliber such as a j frame chambered in either .38 sp or .357 magnum. There are several good pocket 9mm's available as well.
  10. Just curious as to how someone draws the conclusion that someone who carries in an amusement park is a coward...
  11. So, you're trying to make the claim that no one would ever think about going into Dollywood and start killing innocent people? Really? What makes Dollywood different than, say, the mall, or McDonald's, or the park?

Can't beat the SP101 for reliability, durability, or concealability, and I just like the way it shoots. I ankle carried my 2-1/4" out to eat last night in a DeSantis Apache.
  13. I personally don't care whether anyone else carries two or if they even carry at all. All that matters to me is that I do.
  14. You didn't say what the purpose of the holster was, but if you're planning on concealed carry, the Fobus Roto Paddle is a really poor choice because it doesn't hold the weapon close to the body. I have one, but I use it only to carry openly around my property.
  15. I agree. I even have some within my own family who believe that it's "necessary". When I voiced my protest one day at a family gathering, I was asked "What do you have to hide?". I thought my head was going to explode.
  16. As long as we keep putting people in power who believe that this type of indignity is necessary to our national security, the abuse will continue.
  17. To me, three or more unfamiliar youths constitute a "pack", and as such is something to be avoided at all costs.
  18. Thanks; it was a rhetorical question.
  19. Does that mean that every parent who ever spanked their child in Texas is now a criminal?
  20. Wish I could, but I'll be sitting outside tomorrow in a suit and tie at a wedding in Chattanooga.

You simply cannot go wrong with a J Frame.
  22. If you want her to carry it, let her pick it.
  23. Most of the accounts I've heard where a woman was trying to decide on a carry weapon resulted in them picking a small 9mm, either a Glock or a M&P. I went along for the ride when my son took his HCP class. There were several women in the class, and some were using G19s and Sigmas. My son used my M&P9c to qualify on the range, and at the end of it all the instructor passed it around for everyone to see and shoot. All of the women liked it for the size and the ergonomics. At least two of them decided that's what they would get to carry. You might want to look at one of the new Kahr CM9s as well if you can find one.
  24. Not if he had some other type of retention in place (lock, tension screw). There are plenty of open top holsters that have this.
