Every time I have taken one of my vehicles to a dealership for simple maintenance, I have gotten the "oh, by the way, you need such and such". Every time. The exception to that was when I recently took my wife's Toyota in to have the timing belt changed. Their package includes changing all belts and installing a new water pump. Since I knew about it beforehand, and I knew what the out-the-door price was, it wasn't a problem. They even washed and detailed the car exterior for me free of charge.

I sent the link for this to Gail Kerr today (Tennessean op-ed writer) along with a reminder about her "sky-is-falling" prediction last year that there would be blood in the streets and wild west shootouts in bars if the governor signed the restaurant carry bill into law. Six months after it became law, I emailed her to find out if she was ready to retract her original statements based on the fact that there had not been a single incident where an innocent person was shot by someone legally carrying a firearm in a restaurant or bar. Needless to say, I got no reply. Think I'll get a response this time??

I never got a reply. She's nothing more than a bag of hot gas.

Because it's easier to fix it myself if I can. If that doesn't work, then I'll jump through the hoops and return it.

Sorry, but a teenage girl having a threesome is not the norm. If I had a daughter, I would do everything in my power to keep her chaste until adulthood. It's not impossible and happens all the time. You just don't hear about it, and the media and the liberal elitists want us to think that it's just a normal part of being a teen. I've never bought that and I never will. It is also a big factor in the demise of the traditional family. This is one of the biggest problems in our society, the idea that teens having sex is no big deal and just a "normal" part of growing up. Teen pregnancy can ruin a child's life.

About a year ago I bought an OSO Sweet from Sportsman's Guide. I have carried it in my pocket almost every day, and only a couple of days ago did I notice that two of the nuts were missing from the screws in the handle. I don't know if they worked themselves loose or if it's always been like that. I emailed Kershaw to see if I could get the missing parts, and received a reply stating that they don't carry parts for knives made overseas. So, I would have to return it for a replacement. I figured I would post this to see if anyone knows where I could get a couple of nuts small enough to fit the screws. I haven't tried Lowe's or HD yet, but I doubt they would have what I'm looking for.
