  1. Aren't they a TGO Contributing Vendor? Maybe someone from the Outpost can address this.
  2. 686 Plus 3".
  3. Be sure and let us know how that works out for ya...
  4. Back in the 18th century, there was no permit system and there were no "gun-free" killing zones. I am unable to find any instances of mass killings in schools or any other public venue. That tells me that today we have a societal problem and not a gun problem. I believe we should be able to carry anywhere without a permit.
  5. Haggling is up to the individual exhibitor. RK doesn't have a "no-haggle" policy that I'm aware of.
  6. I have talked to people who have been cited for driving too slowly and creating a road hazard. Whether or not that is really a traffic violation, I dunno.
  7. As I passed a group of cyclists yesterday (and yes, I did give them the 3 ft clearance required by law), the thought occurred to me: It's against TN law to cross a double yellow line. But giving bicyclists a 3 ft clearance is required by law. If there is no shoulder (which many times is the case in rural Williamson County), then aren't the two laws in conflict, as I have to cross the double yellow line to give the 3 ft clearance?

    Gun shop woes

So, it's against the law to call a cop an idiot?
  9. I'm still not moving to VA.
  10. Haven't ordered anything from them in a long time, but I've heard a lot of negative comments from people about them, namely their notorious restocking fee and lack of CS. I doubt I will ever buy from them again.
  11. Just one more reason I'm glad I live in TN.
  12. I think it's always been that way.

    Just For Fun

Saw in another YouTube video that Irish Stepdancers (which they are) practice their steps this way - with their hands.
  15. After repeated failed attempts at reasoning with the owner, that's exactly what my brother did several years ago when a neighbor's dog kept howling and barking at all hours of the night. Problem solved.

    That's COOL!
  17. That would make a good case for retreating to that private island in the Caribbean.
  18. I have had that same thought. If the only thing that kills them is a shot in the head, then why do they need to eat? And if their involuntary nervous system no longer functions, how do they know they are hungry?
  19. This is what I'm carrying today. I put a razor edge on it last night and actually cut my finger with it today: Gerber Sportsman I
  20. I can see bumping it once, but more than that is annoying.
  21. I've never really understood what it accomplishes anyway.
  22. I would really like to see PETA prove in court that the Constitution applies to ANIMALS. They are completely WHACKED in the head.
  23. LOL. What will that do? Make their fur fall out?
  24. Wow. Great story and great photos. My dad was also a pilot and I have great memories of going up in his Cessna 182 when I was a kid. Like your dad, at some point he found it too expensive and didn't have the time to devote to it anymore. He flew the P-47 Thunderbolt in the Pacific Theater during WWII and then continued his flying career in the Air National Guard in Memphis while he was in med school, doing air shows around the state in a P-51 Mustang. He always said he wanted to fly when he was a kid and when the war came along he saw the Army Air Corps as his ticket off the farm.
  25. I live next door to 7 wiener dogs. In the warmer months, they bark at you coming and going, and they bark at 3 am. Sometimes they bark all night long. Thankfully, they are on the opposite end of the house from our bedroom, so they aren't waking me or the wife up when they start yapping at another dog or a skunk or whatever. When they first moved in, the husband told me "If the dogs ever bother you, let me know". I went a month and tried to tolerate it, but finally walked over and talked to him. I said "Do you remember what you told me about the dogs when you first moved in?". Oddly, he didn't, so I reminded him and he said he would keep them on the far side of the fenced-in area. That lasted about two months, and they went right back to running over to our side every time we walked outside or did any work in the yard. If anyone comes by for a brief visit, you can't stand outside and talk. It's that bad sometimes. I tried talking and reasoning. It didn't work. Next step is sending him a registered letter, which I already have written. I just need to mail it. Our county has a nuisance law that very expressly forbids incessant barking. Whether Animal Control will do anything about it; who knows... I bought a water gun that shoots about 30 feet. It's a lot of fun and it shuts 'em up for while.
