  1. Guess there's only one way to find out....
  2. The last time I was pulled over was back in about 2005. I wasn't carrying at the time, but had my permit long before then. I didn't know about handing him both at the time, but he ran my license and my tags and never said a word about me having a permit. Interesting.
  3. Her real name is Katie Weber and it's an Onion parody: K’Ronikka conquers the charts with “Booty Wave”
  4. WTF is wrong with people? How can someone FORGET TO CLEAR THE WEAPON BEFORE CLEANING IT????
  5. I've had a Kimber and a Springer. I prefer the Springer by leaps and bounds.
  6. The Bersa Thunder Ultra Compacts are a real value and a joy to shoot. Here's my 9mm "transitional" model - all the pro features, but the slide is not stamped as such. When I carry it, it rides in a Crossbreed Supertuck: Hope you enjoy your 45 as much as I have enjoyed my 9.
  7. As contradictory as it sounds, he was right. Hospitals are breeding grounds for all kinds of nasty stuff.
  8. Exact same setup I have! Do you like the pocket holster?
  9. I like all three of those knife makers and own at least one of each, but I can't see a dime's worth of difference in quality.
  10. Yes, it must truly suck nowadays to be a gun-control advocate and witness the nationwide expansion of Second Amendment rights to the citizenry, and to know that there is nothing you can do to stop it.
  11. The wife and I gave each other new Verizon smart phones as early Christmas presents the first of December. But she asked me the other day if there was anything else I wanted (in case Santa asks her, you see), so I'm hoping for an aluminum CRKT Drifter. As if I NEED another knife, but what does need have to do with it?
  12. You're correct from the standpoint that pretty much everyone here has their mind made up about which one is the more adequate caliber before the question is even asked. Too bad that many won't even look at ballistics testing or do their own testing, rather, what they end up doing is based on convenience, comfort, and personal preference.
  13. Partly. But when you combine lit candles with holding hands and singing Kumba Ya, then you are completely invulnerable.
  14. I'd take her over the idiot we have now.
  15. So, felons/criminals are going to carry weapons whether or not they are prohibited from doing so, or did I miss something? Once again, gun laws serve only to place restrictions on the law-abiding.
  16. Dear Santa, I want a new POTUS in November 2012. Thank you.
  17. So am I, but I believe in doing something that can actually make a difference, such as carrying one myself for protection from the CRIMINALS who perpetrate the violence.
  18. The Brady Bunch recently announced that they would unveil a new anti-gun initiative on January 8, 2012. This understandably made some in the gun community a little anxious. That secret is now out. The president of the Brady Campaign has revealed what that initiative is. He wants everyone to..... wait for it..... Light a candle. That's it. Thank God Someone’s Finally Doing Something | The Truth About Guns These people are a friggin' JOKE.
  19. Cops who can't exercise any better self-control than this should find another line of work.
  20. Well, no matter what actually happened, it's two against one, unfortunately.
  21. Good riddance to another merciless, brutal dictator.
  22. It's interesting to me that you never hear people who carry SD weapons chambered in service calibers justify what they carry by saying that "it's better than a pointy stick", or "it's better than the .380/.22/.25 that you left at home". Wonder why that is?
  23. Like I said, there are exceptions.
  24. No contest - .38 +P
  25. What do you expect? Dude's only 24. With some exceptions, twenty-somethings have all the emotional maturity of teenagers nowadays, which is exactly what I expect. This little marshmallow got his hand slapped and is choosing to piss and moan about it. Pardon me while I cry my eyes out.
