Consider the fact that the customer doesn't know you from Adam and you start giving unsolicited advice. What do most people do in that situation? Are they going to see you as an authority over the gun store guy? Probably not. Anyway, why does it matter? IF I were going to offer my opinion, it would be out of earshot of the gun shop employee, and then it would only be in the form of choosing an effective self defense round.

This morning on the way to work I saw someone pulled over by an unmarked cruiser that was lit up like a UFO. Seriously, it reminded me of the small spacecraft in the film "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". There were lights on the top, front, sides, and the rear. Geez, how many lights does a cruiser need and how much does it cost per vehicle? Is it an intimidation thing? A safety thing? Just seems like overkill to me.

That's EXACTLY why I carry everywhere, and if I can't, I don't go there. Been to Commiefornia, and if I never go back, I won't lose a minute of sleep over it. Same for NYC and Chicago. Too many other places to see that actually honor my constitutional rights.

Apparently I am failing miserably in my attempt to communicate my thoughts, so I'm done for the time being. But I have to say that all I'm seeing is blind hatred for someone. That's never a good reason to advocate stripping someone of their rights. Have at it.

I don't want someone else deciding for me whether or not I'm "worthy" of carrying a gun if I'm not breaking the law.

My point is that someone else may think that YOU or I are exhibiting behavior of an unstable person just for carrying a weapon, not that someone is or is not afraid of a gun. I mean, where do we draw the line? Where does the Constitution draw the line?

So, if someone decides that YOU need to be disarmed, just because they're afraid of you or your gun, or just because they THINK you're a social deviant, you're OK with that? Still waiting to see some objectivity here.

That's from your viewpoint. Someone who hates guns thinks their viewpoint is just as valid. If the Constitution is to be objective and fair, it has to apply to everyone in all circumstances, or someone who doesn't think you should own a gun would be able to take the right away from you. Are you OK with that?

To someone who doesn't think anyone should be allowed to carry a firearm, you or I could fit that description. Are you willing to let someone else make that judgement for you?

Yes, I think he was asking for it and I'm not surprised that they revoked it. I think he is trying to see how far he can push the authorities. To what end, I'm not sure about, but he's definitely seeking attention.

Like I said, I don't agree with his methods. I'm just not in favor of stripping someone of his constitutional rights just because I don't like the way he does things.

Just some things to consider, as I don't know whether or not these apply to your situation: Are you dehydrated? Are you on any antihistamines? Have you tried any saline nasal sprays? Have you tried smearing vaseline on your nasal membranes? Are you ingesting too much caffeine, alcohol, or salt?
