  1. After watching this again, I have to agree with Nicemac. The first time it was funny, but the father doesn't seem to be much more mature than his daughter. Maybe that's why she has a behavioral problem.
  2. Major applause for this father for setting his daughter straight, but exactly where can you purchase "exploding" hollowpoint rounds? I want get me sum. Not sure I would post this on YouTube, however. We all know that the loons over at CPS are just looking for reasons to pay us parents a visit.
  3. And yet the social progressives believe that the state will take care of us. But then, they generally don't believe that anyone who owns guns can be happy.
  4. Making those kinds of payments to yourself, you could save $5K in less than 11 months.
  5. What a load of crap. They make it sound like ALL online sales are exempt from background checks. They make no mention of interstate transfers or that many dealers sell online and that the background check is done when the weapon is transferred. This is why so many people have stupid opinions about gun owners.

    Your First Car!

Not my first car, but I had a '76 Chevy cargo van with the 350 V8 (at least I think it was a 350) that I converted into a "party wagon" lol. I drove it from Orlando to Los Angeles with three friends back in September of '76 and we had a ball. Camped out every night and saw many wonderful sights, including the The Badlands of South Dakota, Mt Rushmore, The Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park. I loved that van.

    Tennessean Bias

    And..... you're surprised by this?
  8. Since no one else has said it, I will. I believe .22,.25,.32, and .380 to be anemic self-defense rounds. I prefer to stick with .38/9mm and above. If I were looking for a pocket semi-auto, I would be looking at a Kel Tec PF9 or a Kahr PM9/CM9/PM45. Just my opinion; doesn't have to be yours.

  10. I have no faith in any of the GOP candidates to do the right thing as it applies to the SCOTUS.
  11. No, it's about more of the same.
  12. If I actually thought that voting in one of the GOP candidates would change anything, I would be glad to vote for them, but I don't.
  13. With all due respect, I don't think my ONE vote will put BHO back in the WH. I'm SICK of holding my nose while I vote.
  14. Somehow, I don't think a safety course would have made any difference. When common sense is absent from the equation, it's just not going to end well for someone.
  15. I'm still voting my convictions this time. That means I won't vote for any of the current GOP contenders.
  16. Romney has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that when it comes to the 2A, he has his head firmly up his derriere.
  17. Didn't hear about it, but she should have immediately called the police when she was able to. Hopefully it will be sorted out if she felt threatened and was defending herself.
  18. Hatas gonna hate....
  19. I'm here!! Thanks for all your hard work, David!!
  20. Dad was an MD back when people in the medical profession sported license plates with the medical symbol on their cars. He never put one of those on his car nor would he stop for an accident because he said the risk of being sued was too great.
  21. Every person I know who has a VM2 has said it was worth every penny and every day they had to wait on it.
  22. Sigma got a bad rap. Apparently the early ones were crap, but the VE series was outstanding as an entry level weapon. Reliable, accurate, and well built. If the SD series is an improvement over the VE series, then I'd say it's a winner. Oh, and anyone who thought the Sigma trigger was too heavy, well, they were a pansy.
  23. Do you want to carry IWB or OWB? Leather or Kydex? What position on the belt?
  24. Big Poppa, sorry about your dad. Anyone who likes Celtic/Gaelic music is OK in my book. I have never been a big fan of Celtic Woman because of their theatrics, but I love the Celtic style of music. I would love to see Gaelic Storm sometime if they ever come to Nashville.
