  1. That's more about habit than anything else.
  2. Romney is no more a constitutionalist than the current liar in chief.
  3. I, too, am on the other side of this. When I see someone take the time to show that his weapon is clear in the video, then I have some confidence that the person knows what he/she is doing. But if they drag it out, it can be somewhat annoying.
  4. I resisted the temptation this year. Besides, I'm a Trail's End Popcorn kinda guy, and Boy Scouts haven't gone PC yet.
  5. Wow. So far, 93% are of the opinion that the GA carry laws need revising, even though the wording in the writeup seems to suggest that just ANYONE will be able to carry a loaded weapon in school.
  6. Not sure how I am projecting my will on anyone....
  7. LOL. No, I don't hate them, even though it may appear that I do. But what I don't get is the "either/or" mindset between a .380 and a more effective SD weapon. I've carried them all, and if you have the right rig, one is no more difficult to carry than another.
  8. But it isn't just opinion. It's a fact that I can carry my 1911 just as easily as I can any other weapon. That includes pocket and ankle carry.
  9. I am becoming very curious about these.
  10. They aren't any more difficult to carry than anything else with the right holster and belt.
  11. I have never understood this thinking. There is absolutely NO reason to leave the 1911 at home.
  12. ^^^^^^^^ THIS
  13. What part of "keep and bear arms" do you not understand?

I still don't see the advantage to a .380 ACP revolver. Why not one of the semi-autos? Much easier to pocket carry. Not saying there's not a market for it, just don't get it, that's all. Kinda like the .327 magnum. It was a solution to a problem that didn't exist.
  15. Wonder if they would feel the same way if the state required training or a license to exercise their First Amendment rights? Don't have a permit? Keep your mouth shut or face felony charges. And I don't understand why the Second Amendment seems to be the only guaranteed right in the Constitution that really isn't.

Sorry, I just don't get it. If you're gonna carry a snubbie, why not just carry one chambered for .38 +P or even .357? Just goes to show that some folks will buy anything, and the gun manufacturers know it.
  17. Not everyone recommends Crossbreed. I have two, and they are good holsters, but I have found that a good quality IWB leather holster is thinner and is more comfortable.
  18. While I don't have any of the knives mentioned in the OP, I do have several Kershaws made from 8CR13MOV, and several made of the 14C28N. I prefer the latter, but the Chinese blades are decent quality, especially at a $13 price point.
  19. Looking out the back window on Saturday, I saw a coyote trotting through my back yard. I've been in this house since 1984 and this is the first one I've seen here, even though I have heard other accounts and I have heard them at night. Guess I'm gonna have to get out the varmint rifle....

  21. I guess we'll see, won't we?
  22. I'm gonna vote how I want. It is MY vote, you see, and no one else's.
  23. Actually, that kind of lock step thinking is what gets us more of the SOS.
  24. You and I agree on this. I think every single one of the GOP candidates are pathetic and I won't waste my vote on any of them. Tired as hell of holding my nose when I vote.
