  1. Ever notice how people who carry mouseguns are always defensive about them?
  2. Ridicule doesn't make a very good argument. I haven't advocated carrying howitzers or anything else extreme.
  3. What is wrong with this woman? http://www.tennessean.com/article/20120305/COLUMNIST0101/303050021/Gail-Kerr-Guns-work-proposal-disaster-waiting?odyssey=mod|newswell|text|Opinion|p If she just made it solely a property rights issue, then I wouldn't have as much of a problem, but, and predictably, she tries to tie it to workplace violence. I have challenged her again and again to publicly admit that she was wrong about her "blood in the streets" and "bar room shootouts" predictions about the so-called and mis-named "guns in bars" bill/law, but she has kept her mouth shut like the coward that she is, just hoping that it will go away. And just like that issue, she shows her supreme ignorance and dishonesty about this issue as well. Liars keep on lying.
  4. Nothing illogical. Simple physics explains it. But since your litmus test for a good SD weapon seems to be "Gee, I wouldn't want to get shot with one", I fully encourage you to carry a BB gun. Maybe it will scare the BG away. I'll keep carrying what I know will work the majority of the time and has the BEST chance of success.
  5. Nah, it's painfully obvious that some do not understand. Anecdotal evidence proves nothing.
  6. The flurry of recorded phone messages I received yesterday disturbing my day off made me so mad that I may not vote for anyone today.
  7. Anyone notice that the guy who was shot was still mobile? He died LATER because of his wounds. The guy wielding the .22 is simply lucky that the assailants fled instead of deciding to continue their attack since the one who was shot was STILL PHYSICALLY CAPABLE of doing so. Again, it astounds me that people can't tell the difference between STOPPING THE THREAT vs. KILLING SOMEONE. Just because a .22 will kill doesn't make it a good defensive weapon.
  8. Not to veer off topic, but I drive an '03 F150 and it hurts to fill it up, but I'm more than willing to pay $5-6 for gas temporarily if it will remove the current liar-in-chief from the premises of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue!!
  9. Why are people arguing over a television show?
  10. I have the following folders and would recommend any of them: Kershaw Blur Kershaw Skyline Spyderco Tenacious (currently less than $31 on Amazon with free shipping) Benchmade Mini Griptillian SOG Flash I
  11. What's hard to understand about waiting for your attacker to bleed out vs. incapacitating him as soon as possible?
  12. Don't know why "keep your finger off the trigger" is so difficult for some people.
  13. This thread is making me LMAO.
  14. I think he's read too much crazy on the interwebz. You know what those forums will do to your mind.
  15. Don't understand the problem. I've never had a ND when reholstering after taking a dump.
  16. Believe me, they don't want your money. I've written them before about it and got no reply. That told me what I needed to know.
  17. I'll stick with my traditional, old-fashioned IWB holster. I wouldn’t spend a dollar on this.
  18. Not to mention that the manufacturer advises carrying with an empty chamber. That alone is enough to make me avoid it like the plague. This is a really, really, bad idea and just looks like another attempt to reinvent the wheel.
  19. It is a false claim that keeping a weapon locked in your car while on a employer's property if there is a policy prohibiting it is a crime. You can be escorted from the property, but you are not guilty of any crime.
  20. You gotta be kidding me.
  21. So, the Constitution sets limits on government, and not the rights of citizens.
  22. http://www.tennessea...ext|FRONTPAGE|s "Police have increased area patrols of the mall and they recommend steps such as retaining possession of items like purses, GPS units, and laptop computers when leaving the vehicle." Noticeably absent is the mention of firearms. Since I can't carry mine inside the mall, then I have to leave it in my car for someone to steal. This is exactly WHY I don't go to the mall.
