  1. You'll also need a rail to go along with the tar and feathers.
  2. Browning Hi Power 9mm "T" Series - a gift from my dad.
  3. I don't believe everyone is racist, but I do believe everyone is prejudiced. There's a big difference. It is human nature to be prejudiced and have preconceived notions. Do you have to hate an entire race/ethnic group/minority group to be a bigot, or do you qualify if you merely don't trust them?
  4. I'd get her signed up for a class. I'd rather a qualified instructor teach anyone I care about.
  5. Wow, that is a beautiful piece of machinery. Good eye!
  6. The "tactical" Browning BPS is worthy of consideration. If I could find one at a fair price, I'd buy it and sell my H&R Pardner Protector.
  7. That makes two of us. From my perspective, the ones who hurl the racist charge at the drop of a hat are the TRUE racists.
  8. It appears that the only thing these thugs understand is violence, so they need to be dealt with in terms that they understand, if you know what I mean.
  9. The federal gubmit is to cowardly to go after the real criminals, so they pass laws that make criminals out of the average, law-abiding citizen. Then they get law enforcement to do the dirty work.
  10. Gino's Billy Goat Tavern (Cheeborger, cheeborger!)
  11. I can't say what I'm thinking right now....
  12. So, they weren't beating him after he was on the ground?
  13. Every one of those sorry excuses for cops should be tried, convicted, and sent to prison for a long, long time.
  14. Actually, it's a good thing for us whenever freedom haters display their idiocy to the rest of the world. Sometimes there's just enough common sense and outrage among the populace to realize what's going on and they do something about it.
  15. The antis always make asinine statements with absolutely NO proof to back them up.
  16. Here's my takeaway on all this, based on what I've read so far and from what I've heard in the past. If one buys a Taurus product, then it's a shot in the dark as to whether or not he gets a good product. On top of that, it's also hit or miss as to whether or not he gets good CS if he has a problem with his product. And if he's buying that product to defend his life or the life of his family, he may or may not have a product that he can depend on. No thanks.
  17. I agree. It is already doomed to failure.
  18. Any brand can have failures, that's true. It's just that some are more prone than others.
  19. Not necessarily talking about Taurus here, but what good is a warranty when your weapon fails in a true SD situation? Maybe you can tell the BG "Oh, that wasn't supposed to happen. Dang (insert brand here)!!! I'm gonna have to send it back to the factory for repairs. Good thing it has a lifetime warranty! Can you give me 4 weeks and then we can pick this up where we left off??"
  20. Yeah, sumthin' tells me that if a no-knock warrant is issued, and they get my house confused with someone else's in the middle of the night, it's not going to end well for me - law or no law.
  21. Would like to get a LEO's take on this...
  22. You know, it's hard to argue with someone who sees this on a daily basis as opposed to someone who shoots their one subcompact 1911 once a week if that much. On a side note, care to share with us what you see as the most consistently reliable handgun?
  23. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/05/robert-farago/in-defense-of-indianas-new-resistance-to-police-law/
  24. I distrust any weapon I have to send back the factory even once. Of the ones I currently own, not a single one has had to be repaired. I did have one that I had to return, and after it was repaired, I got rid of it as quickly as I could. Warranties are nice and all, but if I can't trust it, I don't carry it.
