  1.   She didn't do anything wrong, so there's no reason for her to have any guilt. However, seeing someone die unnecessarily like that will most likely traumatize her for a long time if not for life, and she most likely won't want anything to do with firearms. She may very well become another Shannon Watts.
  2. The cookout was one of about a dozen others held across the country to draw attention to the group’s message, which is that guns are evil and no one should have them.    Fixed it for them.
  3.   Maybe. It just disappoints me a little when an actor or musician whose work I admire opens up his or her mouth and spews ignorance. It doesn't keep me from liking their work, however.
  4. I've just always been amazed at the Hollywood elite's blindness to their own hypocrisy.
  5. And shows a woeful lack of knowledge about firearms.    http://gunssavelives.net/blog/norman-reedus-from-boondock-saints-and-walking-dead-no-reason-to-have-automatic-weapons-at-all/
  6. This. I recently bought a Glock 19 when they were having their employee pricing sale. The customer service was excellent.
  7. Whar kin ah git sum 'o them rubber booolits?
  8.   You expect intelligence from the government?   I live just off one of the alternate routes. It was bad enough with people trying to get around the construction on I-65 South. Now it will be an utter nightmare for the next three months.   I can't tell you just how much that blows.
  9. I had a Kel Tec P3AT that failed completely at the range one day. I sent it back to the factory for repair and sold it when I got it back.    I won't carry a weapon I have no confidence in.
  10.   ^^^^^ THIS.     New Kroger opened up out in Franklin earlier this year. First trip with the wife, employees were falling all over themselves asking us if they could help us; cashier smiling and very friendly.   FF a couple of months later. I went in one evening to pick up a few things, couldn't find a soul anywhere. Got to the checkout and the cashier was yawning and acted like he didn't give a rip.   I'm done with that place.
  11. Absolutely no thought is being given to the risks inherent in such a design. I have no problem with developing so-called "smart gun" technology, but only up to the point where someone tries to force me to incorporate it into my life.   It's just one more thing to go wrong in the event of a life-threatening situation where every second (or less) counts.

  13. Modern firearms are infinitely safer than the ones American colonists owned when the Second Amendment was written.
  14. He had incomparable talent. Never been another one like him. I really hate hearing this.   My favorite RW film is The World According to Garp. I read the book before the film was released and he brought that character to life like no one else ever could have.   Rest in Peace, Robin. You will be missed.
  15. Either way.... GOOD RIDDANCE!
  16. This is how it should be done.

I wonder if you can kill them the same way you kill yellow jackets - either with gasoline and fire or with kerosene to smother them little devils.

As long as it doesn't try to sue a baker for refusing to make a cake for its gay wedding, everything is good.

We used to have a black and yellow Argiope that would set up his web in a corner of our screened in patio (where it met the house) behind the HVAC unit. I've never cared for spiders much but this one fascinated me because of its color and the unique web it made. I named him Boris.

Nuke it from orbit.... it's the only way to be sure.....
  21. Whatever you get, try to find one with taped seams and a bathtub floor. It will make all the difference if you get caught in a monsoon.
  22. I'm not referring to having a gun pointed at me; I'm referring to ANY violation of their oath to uphold the Constitution.
  23.   The LEO who is truly a professional and is genuinely trying to protect the rights of law-abiding citizens knows he has a hard job, but he doesn't use that as an excuse to violate those citizens' rights, and we shouldn't accept it as an excuse either.
