Um, duh! Because criminals stay up to date on the latest firearms laws so they can be sure not to violate them. If they don't have a permit, they won't carry. Similarly, that's why there has never been a shooting in a Gun Free Zone. Sheesh. The things you gotta 'splain to some people.

My understanding as well. I don't see how a Series 80 or other similar mechanism could allow the firing pin to drop without the trigger pulled.

Just to be clear, theoretically this does not apply to Series 80 1911's, or others with a similar proprietary setup like the Kimber Series II, right?

Wow, some of you guys drive a lot. I think the most I have ever put on a car was about 32,000 - 36,000 in a year. My current ride, below, was bought new in August. It has about 4,200 miles on it now.

Top right - "View New Content." I voted I like it because there's not a choice for "I could take it or leave it." One of the motorcycle forums I'm on uses this software so I'm used to it. They also changed to it recently and it will take some getting used to, like the new content piece, and a few other things like search are different. Otherwise it's all right. As has already been mentioned, I definitely like the preview feature. But knowing the reasons for the switch, etc. I'd say this is a good software to go to and I know you will make it work.

I don't see how spending a trillion dollars saves anybody on taxes. Exactly where is the money going to come from to pay back that trillion? You guessed it. Taxes. And he wants to let the actual Bush tax cuts expire. And then there's health care. So he saved me about $0.25 in taxes but it cost me about $100. Thanks for nothin'.

Sam sure does make a good Octoberfest. Another great one I tried recently was Victory Hop Devil. It's not for the faint of heart. It says Hop Devil for a reason. If you love hoppy beer, try it. Now. No seriously, go.

Love the wheat beers. But I'll take Hoegaarden over Blue Moon. Boulevard makes a pretty good wheat too. Love the Purple Haze. One of the very few "fruited" beers I will drink. I wasn't aware there was a difference.

It's kind of like Monty Python's "And now for something completely different." Just something random to throw in for an extra laugh.

My experience is also somewhat limited, but I liked the M249 SAW. You could make a pretty nice group for a full auto gun. Also like the Tommy. Not bad for a full auto .45.
