  1. Better than ok. It looks really good. Nice job.
  2. I'm still waiting to bag my first buck. But congrats to him on his. That is a good start to a lifetime of hunting.
  3. Welcome Chris. Don't forget to post some pics of those custom 700's. We loves us some pitchers here.
  4. Wow, you guys are antisocial jerks. I got a 37.
  5. Dude, it's the parents. If the parents don't tell their children that they look like skanks then they will go on doing it their whole life. Of course I wouldn't use that exact verbiage with my daughter but I would make it known that she was dressed completely inappropriately.
  6. I asked a police officer this very question about a year ago and he said as far as he knew there was no age restriction. Neither he nor I are lawyers, but that seems to indicate they're not making a big stink about it either way.
  7. You might also check a motorcycle dealer. Some of the riding gloves have gel padded palms which is really nice. Shift makes a pair that I picked up for $20 at Yamaha Suzuki Kawasaki Honda of Cool Springs.
  8. Xring, that rocks. Your dad is going to be one happy camper this year.
  9. Body parts, schmody parts. Everyone knows the brain cavity is the only target that will stop a zombie. Blow his arms off and you're left with an armless zombie. Blow his head off and you're left with a pile of mush.
  10. Good thing I traded my Suzuki in for a Yamaha.
  11. I'm at home with my Kimber on my hip. Who the heck needs a shield? .45ACP to the brain and it's all over.
  12. Fast roping will at least get you close. There's quite a rush reaching out into space hoping you get a good grab on that rope. If you don't, you better do the best PLF of your life.
  13. This is the key. My wife was having trouble with my Kimber Ultra Carry II. I told her to barely grasp the slide with her weak hand and push really fast with the frame. Just the friction of your fingers on the slide is enough to rack it.
  14. My thoughts exactly. My money says you won't be allowed to carry. Though I would appreciate the input of some who have been to one. Most convention centers, sports arenas, and the like are posted, so I'm wondering what has been done in the past.
  15. At least Moss has been known to produce.
  16. Seems to me you just answered your own question. Kudos.
  17. Well said Punisher. Drinking a beer is great. I obviously am a big fan of it. But if you can't wait to get home to have a beer, well...It's just not worth it. I'll leave it at that.
  18. OhShoot is absolutely correct. Just today I read in the TWRA 2010 hunting guide that you can carry your gun if you have a permit anywhere that you normally can. And as OhShoot said, that doesn't change anything about hunting with a pistol. Stay safe out there.
  19. While going to and from a hunting spot a game warden doesn't really have anything to say about it. At that point you're simply transporting the gun. Unless you're talking about the part where you're walking out to your stand/hide. In that case you would be ok being loaded.
  20. I had band practice so I missed it. I'm going to try to make the next one though. Always fun shooting with you guys and gals.
  21. I guess I need to get the PGR logo in my sig line somehow. I've been a lurker for a while but my schedule just never seems to jive with the mission schedules. This weekend I finally got to go and I'm glad I did. I am going to try to get to more especially in the cooler weather. Ride safe.
