I don't know if it's normal, but it's certainly not uncommon. I used to be in the IT dept. that supported a county government and I know their courts wouldn't accept a personal check. It takes too much time chasing all those that bounce.

I can't say enough about them. I suffered for 17 years and they had me fixed up in a week. Literally. Everything else has pretty much been covered except where to shop for guns. Guns & Leather. If you're down with Mediterranean food Anatolia on White Bridge can't be beat. Try the baklava. The Palm across from the Bridgestone Arena is good, but a little more pricey. Some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. If you like German food the Gersthaus on Interstate? (across from LP field right next to the Interstate anyway) is pretty good. I'll second Nacho's for Mexican. Italian - Maggiano's on West End is pretty good. Jack's BBQ downtown on Broadway between 4th and 5th is always busy. I like it. If you want some great beer and some food to wash it down you could also do worse than Big River, also on Broadway. That's all for now.

I fail to see how domestic violence is a crime of love. I've known wife beaters and it was always a question of control, jealousy, and insecurity. Love never entered into the equation.

So what makes you think that someone who won't enforce a law against murdering another human is going to enforce one against hate crime? It's either against the law or it isn't. And I have never heard of someone being murdered out of love, have you?

Good luck. I have a friend who gets denied every time due to a similar issue about 15 years ago. He has tried everything to get it erased, expunged, have the disposition recorded - you name it. Hopefully your experience is different.

Well there's where you're different from the stereotypical Democrat in the first place. You don't assume that one has to do with the other. Most of the Democrats that are so fervently anti-gun also assume that anyone who is not a Democrat is automatically a homophobic racist, etc. etc. Maybe you're actually a Republican or better yet a Libertarian and just don't know it yet.

They're quickly going the way of the UK. I don't know if you saw it but in the UK they even tried to ban glass pint glasses (I know that's redundant) because people in bar fights were using them as weapons. They should just ban crime, DUH!
