You can also have them loaded in a magazine as long as the top of the magazine is covered. What I do is load all my magazines and place them in a soft case for my binoculars. Don't over-think this one.

I have a Kimber Ultra Carry II and I haven't had a single problem out of it. The magazines are another story. I have switched to Wilson Combat magazines for carry. I have had several problems feeding out of the Kimber mags and the McCormick mags. The gun runs like a top and has given me no reason to not trust it.

It's very important to look your best when taking the class. And even a few firearms. Oh! I'll be here all week folks.
