  1. It says people too. Although they don't list dates, times, or names it certainly insinuates that it did happen.
  2. According to this article in the New York Times, yes, it does happen. Hollow Point Ammo Saves Lives, Backers Say
  3. That is terrible news hunting. We will all be praying for and thinking of your family.
  4. It's basically the same as a tracer except they can't see it and it isn't incendiary. I can see the self defense uses but I think IDPA night matches is where they would really rock.
  5. Yea, this might be something that can be solved just via a few question and answers over the forum. I was getting squirrelly results with my 9mm until I took the seating die out and started from scratch. Now everything is pretty consistently within .005".
  6. Think of Draught as water. This would be ambrosia. Seriously though, Draught is a little void of flavor and watered down if you ask me. It's easier to compare this to the regular Guinness Extra Stout (not Foreign). The flavors are very similar except the Foreign Extra Stout really accentuates the roasted barley and adds a note of chocolate at the end that I don't detect in the regular Extra Stout. It is pretty rich and has 7.5% ABV rather than the 4.5% or so that the regular Stout has. If you like stouts I highly recommend you pick this one up and try it.
  7. This was on the menu last night. It is my new favorite. Everything I thought it could be...and more.
  8. My wife's carry is a P232. I love it, though I would highly recommend some Hogue rubber grips as an addition. The decocker is a great option common on Sigs as you know and it is pretty easy to be accurate with for such a short gun. I haven't had the spring issue that Bassman had but I guess it's something to look out for. The Pros: It's a Sig Accurate for its size Easy to conceal Decocker instead of manual safety (DA/SA) The Cons: Only seven rounds No way to lock the slide without a magazine inserted Magazine changes are not as easy as Glock/XD/1911 Overall a great gun. My wife had to have one after she shot a friend's and still loves it.
  9. I sometimes clean my wife's gun after shooting. And sometimes it stays dirty.
  10. I wish them luck but I don't think Tennessee is quite ready for this yet. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am.
  11. I'm sure his replacement won't be much better. But at least I don't hate him yet.
  12. And I disagree with it. My family is in my home and there is no way I'm leaving it without all of them. And since the easiest paths into my home put an intruder in a position where my kids are between him and me, I'm coming to him with extreme prejudice. In addition, being my "home turf" so to speak I have the advantage of knowing the "terrain." I'll be staying put.
  13. Quite possibly the highlight of the clip. At least since he miraculously avoided shooting himself while holstering his weapon with his finger on the trigger.
  14. I'll admit I didn't care for it at first but it is quickly growing on me.
  15. Glad everything came together for you. I hope your move is everything you hoped it would be.
  16. I know a lot of people out there dislike the NRA but politicians are very wary of voting against them. There's no bigger protector of our 2nd Amendment rights.
  17. Guns & Leather for all of the above. They have the best prices, people are friendly - though when they're busy you may have to wait a few minutes to get someone's attention so be patient - they have two ranges, and their HCP class is only $65. What more can you ask for?
  18. For the weapon mounted class: Do you have to have a holster that will hold your gun and light or will you be allowing a low ready start? That will determine how I come equipped.
  19. Damn, cold. Sounds like someone's pissed about not being invited/not being able to get time off to go.
  20. If you don't know which are which you are morally obligated to let them all go free. In addition you are legally obligated to let them all go free. I can't put a number on it but I definitely would err on the side of freedom.
